In my opinion, if we're only looking at the available space, waiting about two more weeks before switching to 12/12 would be ideal. But since you mentioned you're running out of time, you can go ahead and start flowering now.
One thing I noticed from your photo: your daytime temperature was around 31°C, which is a bit too high for the start of flowering. Also, 40% humidity is a little low for the vegetative stage. Once you switch to flower, I'd pay even more attention to keeping the temperature under control. Around 25°C during the day and 18°C at night is ideal. If you want to bring out the pigmentation in certain phenotypes, you can gradually lower the night temperature to around 15°C later in flowering.
