Does this look ready? Apple fritter 8 weeks of flowering - I wanted to wait 2 more weeks so I can harvest all my plants at once but I’m worried it’ll get to much amber and sleepy - I can’t check trics

The truth is, I know you can wait 7-10 more days. I understand you don't want to wait the full 2 weeks. My advice is, if possible, keep an eye on the trichomes; that flower can still give a little more. It looks like the flower wants to keep pushing a bit more. I have to emphasize that you did a great job; that flower looks nice and dense, you’re almost there to enjoy it.

At first sight it is chopping time or very close to it! To be sure look at the trichomes with your phone on 10 or 20x zoom. That way you can tell if there are 10 to 20% amber trichomes. If that's the case (or more), choppin time 😶‍🌫️

If you don't want couch lock then your probably in the window to harvest. If you wait 2 more weeks then you'll most likely be in couch lock territory.

If you don't want sleepy, do not wait another 2 weeks........harvest soon. I would be happy to harvest now/next day or two, but I like clarity in my smoke, not couchlock/sleepy. Nice looking plant btw.

Certainly at the point you should be scoping trichomes. The exact point you want to harvest is significantly about your own personal preferences, so you'll have to figure that out on your own. - I rely less on trichomes nowadays and more on overall ripeness. Seen too many that don't amber up without an unusual amount of time and the buds become over-ripe. Your mileage may vary, but i put a time limit once the plant is no longer visibly fattening up. Use more than just one observance to keep the point at which you harvest consistent plant-to-plant... may need to experiement a bit with the timing to find what you prefer. cola density, pistil coloration, trichome color, and multiple points of observance at different levels on the plant... if light is a tad too strong you get an even greater deviation from top to bottom in regard to rate of ripening... lots of variables that can make each garden a bit different
