Hi everyone, up until now I’ve only used Biobizz fertilizers... I’m thinking about trying something else in the future... I’m interested in Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect or BioNova... But I’m open to other suggestions too; I mainly grow autoflowering strains in Light Mix substrat

Highly recommend you use synthetic nutrients and stick to the method do not use organic nutrients in a primarily synthetic setup and expect things to go as planned as a beginner. Maintain control of what goes in and what comes out. Dont be tempted by the fancy word "organic" because it makes you feel warm and fuzzy. Until you have a moderate understanding of pH and how the different nutrient delivery methods affect the ph do not mix methods. Until you have e a moderate understanding of buffer zones and cec stay away from organic delivery. Until you understand the basics of the different forms of nitrogen and how autohpagy is signaled different in different setups. You can't trigger autohpagy in the same manner when you use organic delivery this prevents large portions of growers from sinking nitrogen at the end-of-life like it should, like it does in nature. If you don't sink it then you are smoking garbage. Doesn't matter how much you dry or cure it. There are growers on GD who have been growing for 30 years and don't even know how to signal because there mediums are jammed full of ammoniacal nitrogen which requires 6x more water to separate from soil particles than a normal flush. This will prevent autphagic sink as the medium never truly becomes starved of nitrogen. Master synthetic control before trying to mimic complex organic ecosystems.

Go for slow release dry amendments. Gaja green most known brand, we had ecothrive in UK, i believe there is plenty of alternatives now ... You grow in light soil and peat mix, it should work amazing. Watching ph is still a number 1 priority when you grow in such setup, but this time youll be adjusting just plain water, way easier way to grow and less things to watch out ...

treat it like soilless, because that's essentially what a light mix is... a nutrient charge meant to last ~2 weeks or so. Anything 100% water soluble and plant available will do well. Something that provides a full diet since you don't have amended soil. I'd also suggest switching to dry nutes. You can make concentrated stock solutions to minimize how often you need to dissolve it. Dry nutes last decadeS, so you can buy in bulk. Takes me 3 or 4 years to use a 25lb bag of calcium nitrate. Fertilizer should be one of your cheapest expenses. j.r. peters jacks 321, cropsalt, megacrop, southern ag, masterblend et al .. all have decent "3-part" setups that will provide 100% of nutritional need. a 'base' product along with calcium nutrate and magnesium sulfate - the last 2 you can buy any cheap generic) Great thing about using cal nitrate is you will never need cal-mag again, lol. Never bought the stuff. Never needed it. I got a 8fl oz promotional bottle 5-6 years ago... completely sealed an unopened. nutrition needs aren't really different for autos. i've used the same formula on each with similar results.
