Stripes of purple on the stems are a beautiful aspect of this IBL landrace that I enjoy very much. The photos don't do justice, in front of me they are super cool to look at. I may twist a few branches in training to swirl the plants natural stem stripes. Should I do it? Could be

Those stripes look gorgeous 👌 and on an IBL landrace they may simply be a genetic pigmentation trait rather than a deficiency.
I wouldn’t deliberately twist the branches just to make the stripes spiral, though 😅 Gentle LST/bending is fine, but actual torsion can damage vascular tissue or split a branch for basically cosmetic benefit.
If you want to play with the look, gradually train a branch around an anchor instead of twisting the branch itself. You might get some of that spiral geometry while letting the stem adapt naturally.
Sometimes the phenotype already made the artwork, no need to argue with the artist

Open pollenated IBL Landrace is correct there's only 2 phenos a green and a purple..grown in the kush moutains over and over and over again creating the 2 phenos yeah farmers will intervene removing males were there not needed.. it's still going on there growing it for hash. The best hash

Jungle barns. I think he means that is is a landrace that has been in-breed into a stable line. Since there aren't many real landraces left. At least what people are working with.
I would just let the plant do its thing and not manipulate it too much. Unless you have fun doing it, then you should do what makes you happy.

The cannabis plant requires a genetic foundation to produce the pigment anthocyanin (which creates the purple color) true.
The "candy striping" or purple streaking, is not just a cosmetic genetic choice the plant is telling you she is short of oxygen in rootzones and/or carbon. There is a scarcity of oxygen. 43% of your plants dry matter is comprised of oxygen molecules attached to carbon skeletons.
Genetics determine how easily a cultivar triggers this response, but the environment is the switch that turns the stripes on.
Elite, not quite. Nothing grown in Dave smiths basement using synthetic delivery, the guy who knows nothing of autophagy, nitrogen sinking, complex profiles of the elite nature only express when the plant goes to war. You re lucky to even hit 1g/w given your setup.
Certainly don't mind new growers learning and growing.
Knowing is better than abject guessing.

Bro… an Inbred Line (IBL) and a Landrace are 2 opposite things….
IBL are man made , Landraces are wild plants untouched genetically…..
So ? Is it an IBL are a proper Landrace ?

Looks really great! If they are photoperiods, you can really bring out the colors of the stems nicely with LST, in my opinion.

Thats part of my training. Lije not finished supercroping. I twist like straw most highest top to slow it down and others to catch up. If you manipulate like this, you dont need lst and wires. Dm me, i can give you more details on how, when and so on i do it ...
