Hey everybody, what could be the reason for the pale colour. Plants are in WK 7 of flower.

At week 7 I wouldn’t automatically panic about pale leaves, timed depletion/fade is very possible, especially if the buds are already well developed. 🌱 The plant is reallocating mobile nutrients from older fan leaves into reproductive growth, so yellowing starting low/old and progressing gradually can be completely normal late in flower. Different phenotypes can also fade at very different rates even with identical feeding. That said, this looks quite advanced, so I’d check pH/root-zone conditions and feeding history before assuming it’s purely senescence. If the buds are still developing normally, I wouldn’t suddenly hammer it with extra nutrients just to make the leaves green again. At this stage, you’re growing flowers, not leaves.

This looks like nutrient lockout to me. You’re in a tricky spot, I’ve had this happen with autos before. Without knowing your grow setup or conditions, I’d have to guess that this is extreme nitrogen deficiency or nutrient lockout. When I’ve had this happen the buds did not develop properly and were extremely low grade, had to throw away. This usually happened when I neglected the key fundamentals to growing. (No disrespect Im sure that you’ve put effort into these plants but we all make mistakes) Things to consider: Vpd (vapor pressure deficit) Too little nutrition available in soil Nutrient lockout due to ph imbalance in soil or environment condition Dechlorinate your water and ph between 6.0-7.0 Keep these within specs and your plants will do just fine Nutrient lockout can happen for many reasons, infestation, ph imbalance and environmental struggles. Unfortunately this late into flower, it’s too late to save this girl for smoking.

while this certainly looks like a deficiency, plants do look paler under grow lights. probably nitrogen deficiency. While you don't need as much in flower, you still need some. if it progressed tip-in on leaves and from bottom-up on plant, can befairly certain it needs more N. may have more than one deficiency coinciding. insufficient info

You don't have a diary so we can see what the progress was and how your treating her needs which helps determine the problem. This could be several different things. PH, nutrient, watering, environment, root. The buds I can barely see in the pics show she is just weeks away from being ready, your running out of time for her to heal. Pay close attention to the trichomes and harvest before your buds start dying. Where did it start, bottom, all at once? You have to rule out her needs one by one before throwing nutrients at her. What is your PH when watering, feeding? If nutrient its a nitrogen, magnesium issue but she may be locked out. I have never seen the whole plant go yellow even when only using plain PH'd water the last bit of flowering. Roots could be damaged, water logged. Heat stress or to cold. So make sure her environment and growing conditions are met first, if you try nutrients first your bound to kill her or make things worse. Good luck
