Hi, do you adjust the water pH when using Biobizz fertilizers? The pH of the water with fertilizers usually falls within the 6.5 to 6.8 range.. I have a pH-down product, but I'm waiting for a new ph test kit. I'm wondering if it's necessary to adjust the pH if it's in the this ra

Biobizz nutes = water must be around pH 7 BEFORE adding nutes, do not try to correct pH after adding nutes it will screw up everything.

@AsNoriu In soil there is no reason to adjust the pH if anything your upsetting the pH around the roots.. it's madness when you think the plant puts out certain treats for certain microbes that do certain jobs.. messing around doesn't help.. like using green sensations with a molecule manipulation and sugar royale that gives the root zone all the amino acids it needs.. NOT good and another molecule manipulation.. it's all for hydro grows.. I digress..the water is always the water untouched after a rest from the tap. Chlorine etc.... 12 rest... And it's good to go..the feed is blitzed up to powder( all natural feed ) scraped into the top 2in of soil and watered with said water. If using microbe inoculation then it has to be at a certain pH to keep alive.. there's more to the soil than meets the eye.. take years and years of reading. New science and that's how it is.. were on A rock floating threw space like we know what we are doing.. we don't have a clue.

Biobizz actually advise not to PH your feed as the soil will adjust the value to a safe parameter. I do not follow this advice as it seems contrary to learning curve. I use Biobizz all mix and biobizz nutrients all the time. Mix what you need in the water and then PH the water. Usually after mix my PH is usually around 5.5 and needs a little bump up to 6.2 to 6.8. I use a little carbonate for this. Checkout the Biobizz site for more info. https://biobizz.com/ Good luck and happy growing dude.

It totally depends on the ph of your water source and how old the plants are, aka how much nutrient they need in the solution. So without knowing your base ph, its hard to answer.

If you’re in soil and the final nutrient solution is already around pH 6.5–6.8, I wouldn’t adjust it at all. 👍 That’s comfortably within the useful soil range. With BioBizz I’d mix everything first, then measure pH — nutrients can change it considerably. Only reach for pH Down if the final mix is consistently outside a sensible range. Constantly chasing an exact number like 6.3 can cause more trouble than simply accepting some natural variation. So if your usual reading really is 6.5–6.8: feed it and leave the pH Down on the shelf.

If you are confident you have it approximately right, and that is all you can do in the moment, watering and feeding the plants as needed is correct. This is your path forward until you get the wanted supplies.

6.5-6.8 will work just fine. With my water and amounts, i was getting 7.0-7.3 and was adjusting to 6.3-6.4. Ph is essential in soil grows. As i joke, if i would write a book about growing in soil, first 10 pages would have only two letters in each : pH ;))))

If growing in soil that ph is near optimal and i wouldn't adjust a thing. But in coco you want to be around 5.5-6.2Yes its standard practice to ph to your needs after adding your fertilizer
