At 8.5 weeks you can remove dead and fully yellow leaves, since they're done and only trap moisture. Purple leaves that are still green-ish are fine, many strains color up late in flower, so leave those if they're still attached and healthy. Don't strip healthy fan leaves now, the plant is still feeding the buds. Use clean scissors and check the trichomes to decide your harvest date.

Dead brown ones..........yes.........if they are fully dead, not just because they look "ugly". Purple ones ............no. Your plant is drawing ready made elements from those leaves to use for bud growth.............remove them prematurely and instead of using its energy to grow buds, it will have to use some energy to make elements (carbs etc) from new.

Dead leaves yes. Purple leaves are normal at this stage. I call it the fall colors.

if they were dead, they'd fall off... or just touching them would make them fall off. Better to let the plant suck the leaves down until that point. you paid for all the nutrients stored in that leaf.

I can't zoom in far enough to get a good look at how mature the buds are but look nice from what I can tell. If there are dead leaves then remove them. You still have time before harvest, the pistils are still all white and want that energy to go to the buds. Natural dying off, purple for this strain, is fine but if they have gone completely brown remove them. You aren't defoliating green leaves.

Don't take anything off theres some really nice buds/plants let her do the fade and not deal with defoliation untill she's cut down..
