harvest yay or nay 8 weeks its been flowering now and im trying to go by trichiomes color but not sure if time to harvest, ive also got a gnat problem thats making me nervous and since this is my first time

gnats/ harvest or not so my plants have been flowering for 43 days now should i wait another 2 weeks to harvest, this is my first time and the trichomes are about 15% amber on 1 out of 4 plants ? I also have gnats super bad and some kind of nutrient deficiency, i think, unless from gnats?

should i or should i not so nown that it is week 5 of veg for these plants actually all but 1. do I start the topping process or LST Or FIM? Any suggestions . I also see a cojuplked leaves with brown on the bottom of taller plants do i trim or no?
