@Bigface,ya I bought my strips from digikey, I was tempted to buy from alibaba but if wasn’t a massive saving once you added in shipping and such it was only about $200 and I knew I would always be questioning the quality of the led’s. Plus I went with the lm301b diodes that are on the q-series strips and they are even better then the lm561c’s that all the alibaba resellers were offering. I love seeing and reading the DYI stuff, lights or otherwise. It’s aleays so interesting and inspiring seeing what people come up with for solutions.
