@cultivars Haha, if you sketched it out and built it with your own hands, that’s already way smarter and more creative than most people. Respect! I just figured, from how detailed your write-ups are, that you might’ve noted down some of the key design stuff. No stress, though. I’ll hit you up when I start putting mine together so I can steal some wisdom from you. The first step is getting out of this city apartment.
@bauergrows, all good and I understand and actually needed to do more training with my indoor sativa grow. I was not trying to put you down, sorry if it came off that way
@billycardine0420kingYeah, the point being: I didn’t want them that big — I just started early because I enjoy the process and I needed them to stay small so I saw a great opportunity for manifolding. I’m not growing for size. Your perspective is interesting, but it would’ve been more helpful if you had framed your comment that way from the start. Not every grower has the same goals. I’m not focused on size or productivity. If you check my profile, you’ll see this is my first outdoor grow, and I also have 2 other plants (Rishi) that I topped as you suggested — and they’re definitely bigger (which proves your point, maybe). For me, it’s about learning different techniques and experiencing things for myself. If I want a big monster plant next time, then I’ll know from both experience and your suggestion that I might not need the manifold or the extra veg weeks.
