lol @bobo420 & HomegrownGenetics I love all your perspectives. This is going to sound funny...I don't smoke weed but I want to grow the dankest most beautiful plant possible. And reading all your comments is really helping me do more and more proper research.
Once I harvest I still don't know what I'm going to do with it. I'll definitely smoke a bud or two to see what my own stuff is like but after that I'll probably just end up giving it away to friends. I've always been fascinated by the plant and all it's compounds.
And by the way I believe I'm seeing a few very small yellowish blotches, very taint yellow. I think it's from not changing the water and having a pH fluctuation. You can't see the yellow tint spots on the leaves from the naked eye unless you look extremely close but I do I full inspection of my plant like twice a day so I notice every little development. To be fair I haven't changed the water in almost 2 weeks and I remember the man at the hydro shop said once a week. Just checked the pH and it looks like it's at 6.9 right now. Way high because when I first mixed the nutes and PH'd the water it was around 6.0, so I'm going to change the water first thing in the morning! That's about 12 hours from now, hopefully the taint greenish yellow spots don't turn full yellow.
@HomegrownGenetics, thanks for that advice bro. I am currently using RO water and I'm not sure exactly what the PH is since I'm using the color tester to test the PH. I know it's somewhere between 6.0 and 6.5. When I add the PH liquid tester it turns the water a light yellow color which is between 6.0 and 6.5. I should definitely get a better reader since it sounds that each decimal in PH is pretty important to know for the plant. And what does running a "little hot" mean? Sorry I'm new to this grow terminology. haha
@BitcoinGrower, Looks good bro I didn't realize you were using my schedule that's awesome. Couple things:
Definitely grab a ppm reader, it looks like its running a little hot. Get that pH dropped a little, 5.8 is always a nice number, but early veg you can drift up to around 6.1. Not sure what your budget is but I always recommend the Bluelab Guardian Monitor. Not sure if you're using RO water or tap but get that pH dropped, and the ppm down to 150 or less for the next week or so then continue with my feed! Always good to start on the slow side, and remember different strains will feed differently then others. If you need me I'm a few keystrokes away.
@bobo420, true. That makes sense. Let's see what happens! Haha
I really like @Tenacious_Trichromes grow too. Man he has explosive yields! But he uses a lot of nutrients during the flowering stages so that probably has a larger impact on the yield I suppose. This is the recipe I’m trying to follow as well: growdiaries.com/diaries/1294-tt-runs-northern-cheese-haze/week/5807, just a much more diluted proportion since he grew in a different medium. I guess there’s multiple ways of going about a grow, eh?
I have a Feminized Blueberry Kush seedling too that just sprouted, maybe I should split-test the two with one having nutes during the seedling stage and the Blueberry Kush plant with only RO water for the seedling stage to see what the overall effects of the grow are.
@BitcoinGrower, my thoughts are that you give something to your plants when they need it, they'll "tell" you. Not really sure that the plant that's 10days old need flowering nutrients, but ok...
