@Bunker,Hi , in my experience certain brands of LED took longer to flower, i mean a lot longer, what LED do you have?,as for trichomes, they kind of go milky then orange , dark brown or black is not good.
Hi everyone. @Jon-Do, @Herbalize, @GrimReefer69, @goarilla, @tonino@floresdejesus@bigdaddyk, I have a few questions about #trichomes and #flowering.
- is it normal for trichomes to take a while turn from cloudy to brown?
- should i be doing anything to encourage my trichomes to move on during flowering period?
- is it possible to 'over-flower'? I.e. could I be allowing my plant too much time in flowering stage?
Thanks,
Bunker :)
Very very healthy and approaching the finish line, only getting fatter!
edit: @Bunker,
I do not have epilepsy but i do have fibromyalgia and my pharmaceutical treatment (lyrica, pregabalin) is an anti-convulsant. CBD is at least as effective at keeping my muscles from the long spasmodic contractions that keep me locked up as the pharmaceutical.
If you find any specific strain that helps your epilepsy more than other cbd strains -- I have found some have more potent anti muscle spasm which should be anticonvulsant action than others -- please report.
I have almost nothing to go on as well in terms of *which* cbd plants I should be growing. I expect there to be more crossover in terms of what's effective for epilepsy and fibro than one would think.
@@frags, nice comments buddy :) Interesting points on the photosynthesis too - I'll bear this in mind.
Microscope bought now...up to 1000x focus so I'll share some photos up on screen when important. Good to know that I can trim the top bud back a bit...at least I can see what this part looks like under microscope now :)
I want to get the end part into a good finish as I've been growing this little princess for a while now...and she needs treating well until passing the finish line.
You too mate, enjoy your Sunday.

@Bunker thanks for your kind words, after i join this community i can say im really happy to be a part of a beautiful community like that. Not just me i believe that almost every single grower is same.
You may check aliexpress or ebay kinda online markets and i highly recommend that which i just recieved 60x magnifying phone lenses its not that much expensive and its better than shaking hands and broken eyes haha:) its very helpful to see thc perfeclty and clear pictures u can take!
About the bud which close to the fan its not mean cut her she were damaged and i had same because too much close to the fan and its burned by air.. Maybe u may change her place by 5cm will be helpful.
And about leaves many peoples thinking that never took off the leaves for do not disturb the photosyntesis but think about that its she also trying to fix that problem but we want that she need to focus bud production at flowering stage is the main point do not give any stress for better flowers. Best regards man. Have a nice weekend
@Jaindoh, nice comments - much appreciated. I think the progress of this plant has mostly been down to asking questions to people on here...it is certainly a good community of similar interest :)
I bought a microscope today (@ up to x1000) and it allows videos and photos too. I've been reading up on the trichomes and the importance of noting the cloudy / clear / musty differences - especially when it comes down to the rough balances between all of them is very importance to know what is the THC & CBD level. No doubt, when I get the microscope up and running I'll be sending out the information to everyone to see...in case it is useful to them.
I'll be growing a similar batch next time...and I've taken note of your suggestions...cheers :)

@Bunker, you probably want something a bit stronger than a regular magnifying glass, they sell cheapo 100x microscopes on amazon. theyre fiddly but work. a lot of people use usb microscopes which are surprisingly also like 15-20 bucks.
Yeah, it's nitrogen deficiency from the plant cannibalizing itself due to the vigor required for the flowers to finish and it's a good sign you haven't been overfertilizing.
Everything looks perfect dude. You might tie the branches out further next time, but thats like a minimal critique and dependant on how much space you have. For the next round I'd suggest defoliation (fan trimming for light), LST, and practicing HST.
However, as far as first grows go, I have absolutely no critique, your plant is extremely healthy and I expect you to have a good haul of meds.
@@frags, nice comments frags! Real important to hear some advice like that as the temptation to use her too early is always on my mind! Some of her stalks are beginning to give a little...which is great to see as the weight is making them do this.
Above the flushing process. At the moment, I think I'll start the flush when I see some real change in her i.e change in her #trichomes. I'm heading out today to purchase a magnifying glass to see her up close...actually maybe a digital one to post some videos for peops to see.
The top bud is very close to the fan...perhaps this means I cut her off first...when it comes to that stage?
I may take some more of the yellows off today, but my thinking is that they're helping a little at the moment through some photosynthesis ...even if it is only 1% :)
Thanks for your advice frags,..it's these kind of conversations that help my progress.
All the best
Bunker :)
