Hi, I'm very new to this so any comments & suggestions would be awesome. I'm purely growing this for my medical epilepsy needs, so if I get it right, I'd be delighted!
First of all, I notice this plant is growing taller than expected, judging by other peoples plants it seems mine should be expanding wider a little more - does anyone have any suggestions on why this may be?
Soon, I have three different boosters arriving to replace my current ones (Tiger Bloom, Fox farm grow big, big bloom) .
Judging by the photo - do I look a little behind or on take?
Thanks everyone. Bunker x
After some good watering advice from @Herbalize, there has been some improvements with my leafs which are now growing out much further! I've also added some occasional light wind through a fan which has helped it's sturdiness!
My next step is to think about what soil to use when I replace the current soil (as it runs out of valuable nutrients soon). Are there any tips or videos I should be watching with 'soil changes'? I'm thinking about going for the vitalink professional soil, however I'm also a little confused about whether or not I should use additional nutrients too to this? I'm currently using 'no addtional nutrients' - is this correct?
Thanks again,
Bunker :)
Still going ok. Hoping to add some nutrients this week, some bloomers maybe this one - 'Fox Farm FX14092 Grow Big Liquid Concentrate Fertilizer, Soil NPK 6-4-4'.
Positives:
- the stem is strengthening significantly well, this is good because I was worried about it before as it was very thin and flopping.
- I've added more Phosphorus and it seems to have taken well.
Negatives:
- I need some advice on adding wind resistance - how much flowing air should this plant recieve / day?
Thanks for the continued support everyone.

Interesting week including some ups and downs...but finished on the ups.
Started off with my plant not enjoying or relating to my nutrients (phosphorus or ph up). The leafs began to turn up, so I decided to make some brave decisions.
1. Cut the leafs back, in case it was disease based
2. Re-potted the whole plant as the soil was very stodgy
3. Planted it out into a larger pot with a better contribution of perlite
4. Introduce a more well recognised nutrient @ 25% - Fox Big Bloom. Hoping to increase to 30-40% next week.
This did eventually result in the plant increasing in height by 10 cm. Now I guess only time will tell if it carries on successfully.
Fingers crossed.

Hi everyone,
Seems like this plant is still holding ground for the time being.
Considering it has been moving from pot to pot, it has continued to remain fairly healthy.
The Grow Big by Fox Farm on a 6-4-4 ratio has helped I believe. I'm currently up to a 100% of the suggestions. May go up a little further if necessary.
The light is now down to 15 inches. I'm comfortable with it being there at the moment.
Hi @GrimReefer, @Herbalize, @Tonino. On my fourth photo the leaves have started to change their display a little.. is this suggestive of something ? I.e. flowering stage? Or is it still far away from this yet?
Thanks all.
Bunker : )
Boom! The nutrients are working a treat! Now at 28cm! It also seems like since I've moved onto a new form of LED light my plant is beginning to appreciate some decent light too!
I guess we'll be heading into the flowering stage soon, or am I still a little time away from this period? Also, should i be considering what form of cutting back i.e. LST etc?
Many thanks for all the tips coming through. wouldn't have got this far without your advice.
Thanks, Bunker :)
Hi everyone,
All looking good in this week. I've started to push my plant into flower mode by introducing a 12/12 hr routine - hope this is correct?
I'm still on the grow big nutrients, I'll leave it two weeks until I gradually build up to fox bloom. Has anyone else used this before?
One thing for sure is that I've noticed this plant is certainly using up more water at the moment. You'll notice the droopy leaves in the pictures, however they soon pick up after water is in :)
Hope you're all well and a very happy Christmas

Hope you're all well.
Hi everyone (@herbalize, @tonino, @BigDaddyK, @Foresdesjesus, @GrimReefer69)
Still growing strong and now @ 38 cm. Thinking I've been over watering this princess over the past two weeks so I've trial run backing away a little this week and now watering only when she feels light :)
A few signs of beginning flowering, so touch wood it seems like the 12/12 hour light routine is working. I'm hoping this mini experiment pays off - it's all for a brain injury I had 5 years back. I'm now interested to see how long it takes to go through the flowering stage, and still hoping I'm in that stage already :)
Staying on the Fox Grow Big for the next week and then Fox Bloom soon after.
A run off reading came through @ 113 ppm on a TDS stick - does anyone know if this is good or bad?
Thanks.
Bunker :)
Hi guys, @herbalize @tonino @dinafemseeds @CDBtree @dinafem @grimreefer69 @bigdaddyk @goarilla 'floresdejesus
So Queenie (plant's new name) is drooping a little today. I'm guessing this is due to moving into the flowering era and she's now requesting some different form of nutrition. Queenie was on Fox Farm Grow Big before (https://foxfarmfertilizer.com/item/grow-big-liquid-plant-food.html) on a 6-4-4, and she's been using this for the first couple of weeks of flowering. Now she's moving over to Fox Farm Tiger Bloom (https://foxfarmfertilizer.com/item/tiger-bloom-liquid-plant-food.html) which is a 2-8-4 ratio. So, hoping the leaf's pick up a little - if they do I'll ping over a photo ;).
If anyone is interested, for nutriments I tend to use a 3/4 tea spoon to every two litres of nutriments. Also, I make sure that my ph is around 6.5 - this is the most important element to this grow I feel.
This is all for medical purposes. I'm so excited to see how this'll work out as my seizures (I'm epileptic) are so unpredictable and have been for a few years. If this little experiment pays off I'm guessing @Dinafem will be on my Christmas Card list from now on ;)

Hi @Herbalize, @Tonino @GrimReefer69 @goarilla @Floresdejesus @BigDaddyK @DinafemSeeds @DinaMed_CBD,
Queenie has had a good week for growing in height and shot up another 8 cm. A slight discolouring in her leafs at the bottom, but nothing significant and possibly due to the change over of nutriments. She's become a little thirstier than normal and has started to drink more, but I guess that's in the nature of her roots - or perhaps something to do with the flowering stage.
I think her flowering stage is roughly 65 days, so hopefully we're moving at correct pace. Her is pleasant, however a little stronger than normal over the past week.
Bunker :)
All going well. Encountered a few minor problems this week, but could have been worse had I not noticed the leafs turning colour at the bottom of my plant. After a quick analysis I decided to provide a little more nitrogen to my plant which helped it recover within two days.
A little more growth this week. And the flower bud is looking and smelling a little stronger.
Hope you're all well.
Bunker :)
Hi everyone,
No real growth in height this week, but letting out some punchy smells - very pleasant and easy on the nose.
Some of the under leafs are continuing to drop off, however not overly concerned about this as the top ones appear to be supporting the flowering well. The flowering is doing well, each day it's a pleasure to watch it's progress. A few reflective tiny drops in the buds close-up - thinking this may be the increase in smell.
Not overly keen on the amount of nutrients I'm having to use at present - as this isn't what I want to be smoking. I guess some 'flush out' the nutrients amount 2 weeks before they harvest. So advise from anyone out there on the question - do I flush out now? Or wait another week?
Still using the bloomer nutrient. I've backed away from nitrogen for the time being and seeing how the plant responds.
Thanks for your help
Bunker :)
Flowering still going well, nice to see the buds building up a little weight. the smell is certainly coming through strong now...some kind of citrus scent riding nicely above others - yummy.
A few leafs dropping off, but not bothering me too much at the moment as I'm sure as some fall off others are growing at top, Again, no real height improvement, so I'm guessing it's sticking to this height from now on...quite handy as my 'area' isn't allowing for much more room.
I've been thinking above my next crop at the moment. Anyone used to #hazeautofloweringCBD? Also, anyone else #epileptic on here? This is why I'm growing the #dinamed. I could do with some ideas about when to smoke and how much etc. If some knows of anyone else with #neuriological condition, then please swing them this way :)
Bunker :)
#epilepsy #CBD
Hi everyone,
So another week has passed with more growth on the flower. It's a steady slow progress in comparison to the growth of the plant - but well worth the wait I'm sure. I think it'll be another 2 weeks before I consider flushing through the nutrients used and cleaning out the plant. then another two weeks after the flush before I hang it out to dry.
The photos show more whiteness to the leafs. They have the sticky feel to the them. I may purchase a microscope to see the close of this sticky feel. the leaves are still turning a little yellow down below, but that's not bothering me too much - I may re-check my ph level more regularly over the next few weeks.
Still no finders of anyone growing for #epileptic #cbd purposes...anyone out there on this site?
Thanks,
Bunker :)
Hi everyone, this is a bit of a short update this week, but mostly supported by photos.
I'm focusing on trichomes as I managed to buy microscope this week with a pretty neat digital focus. As Im going for a creamy to amber majority (due to cbd) it seems like I have a way to go yet.
Does anyone have any advise on #trichomes and levels of #cbd?
The plant is becoming to get a little dreary at times, as in the photos. But, I'm not overly concerned about this as a few leaves leaving isn't such a bad thing at this stage.
I hope these photos prove of some use to others.
I'm guessing that I'm not too far off the harvest now...quick question, do I flush when I see mostly amber trichomes or just before to encourage it?
Thanks,
Bunker :)
Hello now everyone :)
So...here we are again...another week taking my time going through flowers....tick tock...I'm kind of waiting for my flowers to come through :)
The flowers are beginning to get heavier and heavier and I'm hoping it'll be a nice flower ahead :)
The trichomes are still white (and not see-through), there some occassional brown trichomes coming through...hopefully it is beginning to get more brown as this will help me with my epilepsy!
Does anyone know of a way to make my plant grow quicker...or shall I leave it as it is.
Bunker :)
