@CropsNjunk
, so your using good soil, did you add any perlite for aeration? You need a good volume of perliteunless you transplant into a bigger pot... You should be watering 1-2 cups every 2 days for a week till they have a few sets of leaves after then you can drench the pot. It will take a few days to dry at first. There should be no reason to PH your water at this stage when not adding nutes. Some will argue this of course... You just let the water sit out for a day room temp is best. The soil contains micro organisms that break down organic matter releasing the nutrients in soluble form to feed to your plants... Using chemicals kills them, stops them from reproducing and or "working" If growing in soil you should use some form of carbohydrates like unsulphured molasses with a plain water feed, no nutrients just molasses and water. This feeds the micro heard so they can multiply The soil also contains certain minerals to buffer the PH to a suitable level for growing cannabis. You only ever need to PH your water when you you're using high quantitys of chemical nutrients. Some brands are PH balanced out of the bottle. Of course we are talking strictly soil.

Off to a nice start! I Use to use tents till I needed more space. Best way to keep them short if you're limited to space would be to either; -Mainline -Some Low Stress Training -Topping/Fim But
@DeathCrusher92
is right about plants doubling in height flipping from veg to flower, sometimes a bit more. My Royal Gorilla Diary shows this as I started off in a tent but soon had to move them, as they grew more than twice the height during the flower stretch. Scrog net can also help. Looking at your pics, you're fine and plants are female.. You'd know if they had sacks 😱 Any queries, feel free to drop me a comment. Good luck!

dont beat yaself up too much dude we all gotta start somewhere!! ive had all kinds of issues with timers, ya best bet is to pick up a mechanical timer, the brand Grasslin are a safe bet and not too pricey! you also may find that using a grow light that has more of the blue spectrum for vegging works better, then switch to more red for flowering. as for space dude, make them do what you want them too! i use 2 layers of nets in tents, one relatively low to train the branches to make a canopy, the other higher up to support the buds, its all about filling that area, any light that hits the floor is a waste!! best of luck g and dont lose faith!!
