Sweet Cherry Kush

Hello Growers, The finish line is here and the Sensi Sweet Cherry Kush has really delivered. Total harvest (dried) was 69 grams, so almost 2.5 ounces from a 16" x 22" tent with a 100 watt quantum board. That is more than an ounce per square foot, so this plant is a heavy producer. This was an easy plant to grow and chunked up nicely towards the end. The buds have a colorful mix of light green and orange with some red/purple hues and shimmer with an icy layer of frost. She has a pungent skunky odor with a musky berry hash pine aroma with light cherry notes. The smoke is very balanced and smooth, delivering a potent expanding earthy berry spice with a light sweet finish. The high is cerebral at first followed by a potent long lasting Indica kick. The cure continues to bring out the flavors and it is still too early to fully evaluate the taste. The Sweet Cherry Kush is a heavyweight producer of dense solid buds that ooze with resin. This strain has a top shelf terpene profile with smooth flavorful smoke and very good bag appeal. I give it a 10 and would recommend this strain if looking for a heavy producing indica leaning hybrid. Thanks again to Sensi Seeds for providing the quality genetics and to all my fellow growers for following along on this journey. Stay in the clouds my friends! Keep on growing!

Apollo 11
Growing it

Hello Growers, This has been a fun adventure to share with you. The Lil Joe strain is a Brothers Grimm hybrid of Apollo 11 and Grimm Glue male crossed with an Animism female (30% THC from the Joseph lineage). Brothers Grimm Cinderella 99 is present in both Apollo 11 and the Grimm Glue, and that strain is brought to near perfection in this cross. I have reported the results for each of the two Lil Joe plants that were grown. These were both similar plants, although the second one had a purple fade towards the end. The plants yielded 32 grams and 31 grams (63 grams dry weight). This is an easy plant to grow and fattens up nicely towards the end. The buds have a colorful Cali Orange look that are heavily layered with resin. The aroma has settled into a citrusy pine spice that is pleasant, although relatively mild and not over powering. The smoke is very smooth and balanced, with an expanding effervescence that wafts through the sinuses. It is a very rewarding experience with a potent mix of both Sativa and Indica. The taste is a spicy sandalwood that carries all the way through to the exhale. This is premium quality smoke and the taste is off the charts (can I have more please?). This is the reason I grow my own herb, you just can't find this at the local pot shops. The cure continues to bring out these flavors, I am sorry I can't share more than words with my fellow growers. Thanks for following along on this journey and stay in the clouds my friends!

Nice carbon filter that has lasted. Definitely recommend if you can get a good price, otherwise go with AC Infinity.

100 watt LED quantum board with SMD diodes and MeanWell driver. This is a good entry level work horse lamp and was used in tandem with an HLG 65 watt with Samsung LM301H diodes (total of 165 watts in the tent). This Bloomspect light is an entry level quantum board and the light spectrum tends to be a little harsh compared to horticultural rated diodes. The light spectrum is more plant friendly a little farther away, so I try to keep it fairly high in the tent (for my set up around 22" is the sweet spot). Highly recommend the HLG 65 for a good veg light and as supplemental lighting for flowering.

This is the 2' x 3' x 54" shorty tent. Nice entry level tent with strong poles and a decent number of vents. The reflective inner lining has worn slightly over the years, but otherwise a sturdy shorty tent (I mounted the exhaust fan and carbon filter outside of the tent to maximize head height inside).
