This plant was the last to ripen this summer. She made it thru our recent heat wave with no problems.

I grew two of these plants this summer. One sustained some wind damage to the central stalk which was fairly easing repaired, but the undamaged plant was ripe about a week before the other.

This plant ripened quicker than I was expecting, but there is a pretty distinct purple color at the base of many flowers

I was surprised at how small this plant ended up being as a sativa. She was the smallest of 4 plants I grew outdoors this summer. She grows very densely too, with fan leaves crammed very close together which will inhibit ventilation somewhat. Caught a mild case of powderey mildew in late summer addressed with a H2O2 bath.

This girl was easy to grow. Not as fragrant as I would have expected but she smelled sweeter after a nice wash.

This girl turned into a pretty large plant. Lots of frosting on the flowers so I'm looking forward to this one. The buds were quite heavy compared to my Cream and Cheese which I took down about 4 days ago. Very easy grow.

This girl grew very similar to the one I grew 2 years ago. The stalks are pretty slender and she needs vertical support at end of life to keep the buds from rolling over. This girl grew quite tall this summer, higher than my fence line and taller than anything I've grown to date.

3 plants in this crop, 2 on the larger side and the smaller one came in with some nice purple fall coloring at the end. Very fragrant and sticky at the end.

This pair had one large girl and one dainty girl. The large girl developed quite nice but was easily twice the size or her sister.

I had a hard time reading this girl this summer. My decision to harvest was mostly based on gut feeling and not trichomes. We're about to enter our 3rd heat wave of the pandemic summer and I didn't wanna put her thru that. She looked and smelled nicer after her harvest wash, but structurally, this was not a very strong plant. Strong enough to hold up all the buds without additional support, but weak in the sense that if you tugged on yellowing leaves the whole branch might bend sometimes. Branches on all my other girls this summer were much "stiffer" by comparison.

The buds on this girl are pretty immense, and she is so sticky at the moment I needed 3 pairs of gloves to finish off the plucking of fan leaves and washing, which was really necessary with all this ash and junk falling outa the air at the moment. I'm not sure we've actually seen the sun for about a week, and the air quality is labeled as "unhealthy". Bud damage was sustained at a number of locations coming out of our second heat wave of the summer, 3 or 4 days pushing 100 degrees, which is not normal.

Well this has certainly been a weird summer, not even including the pandemic. We had two excessive heat waves where we had temps upwards of 90-100 for 3 successive days, which is unusual itself, but the lightning storms set the state on fire.... and things have been bad for a few weeks. Things were starting to look up and then BAM - we woke up Wednesday morning and at 10am it looked like 8pm - no sign of the sun in hazy orange skies. Everything covered in a light coating of ash. On the bright side - since I wash my outdoor herb - I noticed for the first time how fragrant this girl is. Wow... kinda like... where you been baby? This girl oddly enough blew over a couple times this summer. Can't explain why - she wasn't the biggest or the fattest - maybe the widest - just came home from somewhere and found her tilted over at 45 degrees off her wheelies - one of her main branches was damaged at some point.... but she is a testament to how repairable cannabis is. The initial branch damage didn't really slow her down. Just have to catch it fast. At the end - I didn't really need the additional structural support I threw in after the blow overs.

This was a very easy strain to grow. The powder food provided by Green House Seed Co was surprisingly easy to use (like WAY easier than the 5-part liquid system I've been using for a few years). I coincidentally happened to be growing a yardful of hybrids this pandemic summer outdoors so I tried out the food on a couple other girls I was growing and everything seemed to go well. The Wonder Pie's (2) were the most lush though, and ripened first after a late summer heat wave followed by a ridiculous thunder/lightning storm which basically set California on FIRE from lightning strikes, from which we are still tasting smoke daily (that happened like two weeks ago). 👹 Basic growing notes > I grew two girls, largely because I was worried my original batch of seeds wasn't germinating. But I was wrong and ended up with another girl that popped out strong in a second batch. The only real difference between these girls is that one is basically 7-8 days behind the other (which turned out to be significant when the hot weather came), and the first one (which I call big girl) is in a 10 gallon pot, and the 2nd (which I call v2) is in a 7 gallon pot, both fabric. Structurally - both these girls were rock solid and needed no additional support for buds when things got heavy and windy. They could drink heavier than I was probably feeding them. The spacing between nodes made maintenance and harvest easier than some other strains.

This is another case of not really being sure what I have until I can run some tests and measure what the strength of this stuff is. She came out purple though. I usually relate the onset of purpleness to fall colors changing - I had a Purple Berry Kush that changed color almost overnight with some cold temps. Not cold here - just getting hotter.

I've already learned to love this strain as I gave my buddy a few seeds to try and his has been curing for awhile now. Wonderful sativa like buzz. She fattened up quickly with a few hot spells we had here.

This plant grew very sturdy and she drank like a sailor on shore leave. I probably could have fed her a lot more. She grew very dense.

This girl turned out to be a mini-me. One of the smallest autoflowers I've grown. Now... I grew an indoor version of this variety in my CBD Farming diary and she was the tallest of all the autoflowers I grew this spring, so I'm not sure about that. The outdoor version also was showing a fair amount of purple on the underside of the leaves. Not that way on the inside version.

This is the outdoor version of CBD Crack. I grew an indoor version in my CBD Farming diary and she turned out a bit smaller but ripened a bit faster. The upper cola on the outside plant was immense. Couldn't get my hand around it.

This girl turned out the nicest of my three FastBuds grown over the winter indoors. Pretty much twice the size of the Gelato, which itself was substantially larger than the Blackberry. She smells wonderful and is quite sticky.

This baby turned into a frosty little monster that smells great. She developed a level grouping of buds mostly on her own with very little training of sorts from me. From a pure size point of view she came in 50% heavier than the Blackberry I harvested with her this morning.
