@Captain_7, well normally people are adviced not to "care" in living soil. but the reason i do it, is because my tap water really differ at lot from season to season in PH, and is waay to alkaline for not causing issues mid / late flower.
The scientific explaination would be, that cannabis absorbs nutrients best when the soil is at the optimum PH range and that would be in soil 6.2 - 6.5.
is neutral. and if my tap water is hovering between 7,8 ("on a really good day" ) up to 8.9. then my usual experiance is lockout mid / late flower due to also "effectiveness / availability of the biotabs "tab" to control the PH balance and the microbial balance..
now to come back to your question.. with my tap water, ive found that when i mix both orgatrex "2ml" into my tap water, it would actually most of the time get it to around 6.7-6.9.
but my strategi for this run, have been to just PH my water and feeds to 6.5 and then go with it. and my experiance have actually been really good. have not experianced any lockout or problems at all.
using biobizz PH-
Biobizz Light mix soil.
Biotabs formula: bactrex, orgatrex, mycotrex, startrex. Bio pk 5.8 liquid booster through flower. and generally use 2ml orgatrex weekly throughout most of the grow.
Cheers!
