I've been vaping this for about a month or so now - and I've barely touched my proper 'summer grow'. Insane yield from these with just two plants that were the equivalent of 5 or 6 Autoflowers. It's a smooth, mild vape with a a classic skunk profile (quite sweet) and quite intense but, again, not crazy insane. Smooth enough to function on - a solid 20% THC, at a guess with these two plants.

A freebie from Linda Seeds - ended up being one of the better ones :) Happy with yield and bud. Nice n' sticky!

It has been many months now and I've finally opened a vac-sealed pack of this lovely Sweet Seeds strain. It did have some wonderful colours when it was in the flowering stage - subtle pink/purple hues on the leaves. I've captured some of it on video but it's more impressive in person as the camera never really does justice to plants (from my experience) As for the taste and the high? 100% piney, earthy taste - which I find is typical of the 'purple' strains that I've grown in the past. I personally lean towards a fruitier/sweeter taste, but this makes a nice change every now and then. It vapes incredibly smoothly. almost too smooth :) The high certainly packs a solid punch - cerebral and heavy-hitting but also mellow enough not to be too intense. I can't test it but, at a guess, around 20-25% THC. If you like the purple variety - this was an easy grow with nice results - which would have been higher if I'd had better luck with the weather earlier on. It's certainly good for outdoors in a mediterranean climate.

All good, nice dense buds - caught some bad weather early on which affected the grow.

Another winner from Linda Seeds :) So impressed with this breeder.... will definitely be back for more. Note: wet weight is 165 - two branches came off in heavy winds and I've added their weight to the final weight. A real surprise that came through later on - very happy with 46g dry weight. Buds are fat n' dense :)

So impressed with this that I've got another two on the go now. This is probably the record breaker this year :) I need to grow more Barney's Farm seeds in future.

Had a great run with Linda Seeds - but this is one of the weaker ones in terms of appearance. It's very thin and loose - but this is also down to the outdoor grow and the up/down or extreme weather conditions.

Super sticky and a decent yield - but very strange growth with lots of fox-tailing with the buds. Lovely smell - will update when dried and cured.

Wonderful experience from start to finish - another great dirt cheap seed from Linda Seeds. They have outdone some of the premiums this year - which goes to show that price doesn't mean much... I'll be checking out more of their seeds after this grow.

Considering this was in a very small pot, I am very, very impressed :) Not all of the Linda Seeds have turned out great - but this is probably going to be the best of the bunch. The top main cola clocked in at 70g (wet)

As always with Sweet Seeds, they were strong/robust plants and very easy to grow. Far more consistent across the 4 seeds than their other newer strains (Mimosa Bruce Banner, for example) Opening this now after a three month dry/cure and stored in vac sealed bags - the buds are incredibly dense, I mean really, really, packed together - almost solid. The buds are fat and this one has a really high resin content (again, compared to the others this year) The smoke is smooth and hits with a mighty wallop - intense, certainly, but manageable intense. I swear I do smell apricots when I smell the jar now - a strong smell of apricot. I have to give this strain a convincing 10/10 - probably my favourite of the 2023 Sweet Seeds strains so far.

This is the harvest for the 2nd plant - the first one is still going, so I'll update when they're both done :) Easy to grow though, and a miracle the other one survived at all.

Another half-decent sized plant. Will update later when it's cured properly. Generally speaking, I'm not getting the same results as last year - poor weather for a lot of the grow.

This is one batch of seeds (a 3+1 pack) that honestly really disappointed. Plant 1 - I think this one was 'okay' Plant 2 - One of very few plants I've grown that actually retained the light green colour (usually my bud always turns very, very, dark - no matter the yield/strain/conditions) But (and it's a big but...) there's virtually no resin in the plant. So, in short, useless Plant 3 - a monstrosity that never even got harvested - just plain weird growth. 1 seed never germinated. I'm not sure what went wrong here, but I think I got a bad batch. In the grand scheme of things, I'll still be growing Sweet Seeds in the future and I'll put this down to plain old bad luck.

This is more like it. 2nd plant chopped down this year and it's a big one. Did add worm castings to this, which isn't mentioned in the nutrients list.

Another smooth (ish) grow. All went well with plants 1, 2 and 3 - but plant 4 was stunted by the extreme heat near the end and had to go on for a week or so more (along with Gorilla Glue in this diary) When I dried out this last Mimosa plant - in less than 2 days it was bone dry - bordering on sawdust. A bit of a panic and a super fast trim and jar - it's now sweating a bit and a bit better, but I can't get over how quickly they dried out... normally it's around 5 days. Very reliable plant - nice big buds and some good yields - again, across the board Sweet Seeds are more consistent. Whereas with other seeds I get a variety of sizes/yields - Sweet Seeds are more equal - they're all roughly the same size. The overall yields weren't as high as the other Sweet Seeds strains I've grown - but I do think this is more about the weather (ridiculous high heat) than anything else. So the problem is here... Two of the plants weighed in at 40 g each. The other two (esp 4) were small. 1 month later... of all the strains I've grown this year (so far) this one is quite the heavy hitter. A nice smooth but very heavy vape. Lovely flavour, beautiful frosty, dense, nugs. I just wish that last plant hadn't gone belly up - this was a good grow otherwise. 10/10

Will edit this later when I haven't got covid... can't taste anything now. :(
