<span class="link_user">@Herigreen</span>, I ran silica (armour si) in veg , but with my current set up I stop using it during the stretch to allow me to bend branches easier because I find the silca makes branches too stiff ,
As well it’s very alkaline which makes my nutrients solution require a ton of ph drop to bring my water levels to the appropriate ph . I always run silca in veg tho , makes for a strong plant .

<span class="link_user">@Mike62g</span>, have you tried silica as a ph-buffer? It should help you to stabilize your ph between 5 and 6. You solve it in a gallon of water and than add it into the nutrientsolution (if you try to solve it directly into the nutriensolution it can precipitate).
