One of the best tips i got for manual watering. Is to feel the weight of the pot when you just watered. Then it feels heavy, and it should start feeling lighter the next days. And when it feels light then its time to water, and also look at the top medium and check if its dry. I am not to sure about soil and how much it need to be watered as i have only grown in coco and that needs a more frequent watering, Good Luck on the grow mate will check closely.

@Leroi, Exactly what I figured out halfway through. I tossed the moisture meter and now I find they do better when I’m doing 2-3 heavy waters (usually 2 feeds) and then too dressing water only when needed. Will definitely apply next grow
