@Spike_KCanG, hey bud, im not sure if i get your question right, are you talking about a worm bin or about those worms that live in the substrate? What are you feeding your worms with? The worms in my substrate are doing alright, im not actively feeding them they got to eat whats left there + some small leaves that i dont pick up from the soil surface. The types of worms im using are mainly feeding on bacteria and fungi or food that has been pre-composed by those, so what im doing is not feeding my plants nor the worms, but feeding the bacteria and fungi living in the soil. Im having the feeling that your issue could be from a fluctuating pH since youre using an agent to control your pH which is in my opinion not needed in living soil. Living soil can regulate its pH on its own through the microorganisms and ion exchangement but you gotta have the right amount of basic ions from calcium and magnesium for that to be possible to happen, so i think what you may be having is a magnesium deficiency. I would recommend mixing a good amount of ultra fine basalt powder into your substrate to act as a pH buffer/regulator through the supplied ions.

Hey bud. How are your worms holding out? Did you any affects during growth that were worm related? I'm having quite the trouble balancing out my nutrients because the worms/wormfood is quite difficult to get under control.
