I have two of the same lights. They’ve been chugging along for three years now. One of them has a panel of lights out that I would like to replace ASAP but not much free funds to do so now.

I ‘upgraded’ to a 4x4 tent from Vivosun from a Topolite 2x4 tent. The A shaped ceiling isn’t my favorite but and 80in tent ended up being 81.5 inches and was too tall for my new space. I switched to the 72 inch tall Vivosun. It’s ok. I wish there was a taller entrance (maybe one of the sides is better). The viewing window is nice. Plenty of inlet and outlets for cords and exhaust duct. Be wary of sativas and other tall plants.

Auto Blackberry Kush

With only a few days to dry and about 48 hours in TerpLoc Mylar bags by Grove Bags, the smoke is almost as nice as some dispensary BLackberry Kush I bought earlier this year. A strong aroma of pink lemonade is the overwhelming scent when she was flowering. The flavor of the smoke and the curing is bringing out more berry notes. Some of the easiest cannabis I’ve grown but maybe hardest to tell when to harvest. I put them in a closet for 24 hours around the 3rd of December but they were still very green. One plant appeared to have its leaves yellowing so they were watered an extra time and put back in the tent for a week. If I had to manufacture a complaint, they were very short. With only one exception, these were my two smallest plants in size and harvest since my first cannabis seed went in a planter back in November of 2019. At 20 and 14 inches with yields of 26g and 15g, maybe the seeds aren’t worth the premium? Maybe (foreshadowing) they’ll respond better with some LST…perhaps another grow I’ll top twice and LST (it’s currently flowering around week 7 - diary TBA).

Fox Farm soil and nutrients are excellent. I need to be more consistent with my nutrients to really get the best out of my plants.

Royal Gorilla Automatic

Royal Gorilla Automatic from Royal Queen Seeds is a pretty amazing smoke. A pretty strong wave of happiness usually comes over me and then a solid couple hours of just chill but I can stay pretty focused mentally. The citrus, diesel, and pine aromas and flavors are very powerful with this plant. I've come into the cannabis game fairly recently so I don't know too much about various strains and flavors. By now I've probably grown 5 times more than I've ever bought legal or otherwise. So I can't say for certain, but there is a pretty strong aftertaste -- maybe kush, maybe pine-y -- that can be pretty unpleasant, but I don't always notice it. As far as growing, I neglected these plants a bit during March and April due to just kind of being distracted with the world and trying to work from home. My main mistakes were just not being prepared to have them in the right soil and pots from the get-go and growing ten plants in a 2x4 foot tent. Egregious mistakes that I've learned to adjust my grows for at the cost of not getting the best out of these seeds. Those issues aside, I would absolutely grow RQS seeds again. **Update** So nearly two months after harvesting the first plant of these RQS Royal Gorilla seeds, I’m smoking it every day and it is excellent. The real update is this, two or three of the harvest went WAY later than the others. This jar gets reserved for late night only now because it really helps me fall asleep. The cure on the rest has really improved the smoothness while I haven’t noticed much flavor change. I did over-dry some of the harvest resulting in little aroma from that jar, but the others were delightfully lemony and diesel-y. I think my three RQS Northern Lights seeds will be my next grow and hopefully I can show off the quality of the seeds better!

They're excellent products. Tricky to manage right depending on your starting media, but absolutely worth their cost.
