Possibly a place holder but putting out the basics on this grow as I write up the report after harvest.
Seeds planted on Sep. 17; estimated harvest Dec. 3; actual harvest Dec 10; whole plant hung in drying room; drying room conditions are about 68-72 degrees with 30-45 % humidity; trimmed and bagged; heights of 20in and 14in; harvest weights 25g and 16g respectively
Harvest page will have more.
Should be all the same photos as the germ page. They’re all I took from seed to harvest. Big life changes over the past year and change and I haven’t felt the need to take photos as often.
Will update the harvest page next.
With only a few days to dry and about 48 hours in TerpLoc Mylar bags by Grove Bags, the smoke is almost as nice as some dispensary BLackberry Kush I bought earlier this year. A strong aroma of pink lemonade is the overwhelming scent when she was flowering. The flavor of the smoke and the curing is bringing out more berry notes.
Some of the easiest cannabis I’ve grown but maybe hardest to tell when to harvest. I put them in a closet for 24 hours around the 3rd of December but they were still very green. One plant appeared to have its leaves yellowing so they were watered an extra time and put back in the tent for a week.
If I had to manufacture a complaint, they were very short. With only one exception, these were my two smallest plants in size and harvest since my first cannabis seed went in a planter back in November of 2019. At 20 and 14 inches with yields of 26g and 15g, maybe the seeds aren’t worth the premium? Maybe (foreshadowing) they’ll respond better with some LST…perhaps another grow I’ll top twice and LST (it’s currently flowering around week 7 - diary TBA).
I mostly just grow now without much regard for making the diary. It really helped me learn the process and get a feel for what I’m doing.
I do like to find similar strains on GrowDiaries especially when I’m seed shopping so I would like to be more helpful with some better more detailed diaries. Dutch Passion seeds are worth the price bc there were no issues and I hardly had to feed, likely because of the small stature. I have two more in various states in my tent now. I wouldn’t hesitate to grow/buy these again.
