This is fir an inhouse strain of skunk1 and a few afganica' in pure and crossbred form. Potency is mild. For the nose you initially smell tropical fruit that diminishes to a jasmine or lilac or maybe lavender floral smell that thins away into a forresty, woodsy skunk aroma. The taste is like apple spice and black tea. The effects are a meditative relaxation body high accompanied by a meandering , mild psychedelic background buzz. The experience is comparable to a late afternoon respite in a high altitude meadow at the edge of forest with bubbling creeks and doubtful fishing crosshatched by long thin shadows So it's a seven. These are stupid seeds you don't want. I get them for free. So this strain review is a useless thing for anyone to read. The most useful entries in this diary are weeks 6-10 because I had serious issues that I was able to correct and save this grow using an anti root rot micro organism that also doubled as a sort of probiotic for nutrients absorption at the root level. That stuff rescued this grow so for something useful you should be looking at that

Helmand. This one occupies the center position of an Afghan mix. It is 100% green, red haired indica with a forestal, pungent, floral, skunky Odor. Dank. The vape and the smoke have a resinous hashy cannabis flavor with undertones of apple, spice, and mint. The effects are relaxing, comforting body relaxation and a friendly mildly psychedelic state of being. If I were buying buds off the shelf I would award it a 10 but the ratings are mostly based on your growing experience. My growing experience was a successful harvest but I had issues with the plants being attractive to leaf mites and they seemed sensitive to nitrogen and the acidic soil environment. Nothing I couldn't cope with but they do require close attention. Pure Indica growers will know exactly what I'm talking about Helmand grows short and produces a fat top cola. It has a branchless phenotype and a straight angular basal radiating branch array phenotype that is only moderately branchy or bushy. These branches are thick and not curved or else not present at all The top cola is most of the yield in every plant. I would recommend not ever topping any of these, unless you really, really want to. This is a pure Indica. Breeders may want it for that reason. The flavor is another attraction- it tastes like good weed The size is compact. Those are the potential cross breeding traits Helmand Afghan offers. A small challenge to grow, good results.

This is a big plant that has been moved around a lot. Finishing up indoors. Would have done much better if it were possible to let it finish outdoor. Nanda Devi is a branchy, stretchy sativa that is difficult to contain. It's a big fast sativa for sure The dried buds smell like dried out orange. The buzz is only light and it gets you feeling lazy and not feeling like doing much. It may have a CBD benefit as well, sort of like a 50:50 concoction might. I actually love it as a shake weed. It is very entertaining to grow and strongly resist pests and other issues. pH and nutr tolerant, a very fun growing experience but only a mildly pleasant buzz. Not fancy top shelf dispensary grade but certainly was fun to grow. I have lots of these seeds and will very likely plant them again For breeders, it might be a good cross strain to consider for resistance and tolerance traits.

This is an old plant from a previous harvest, only a few lower buds were kept, and it was incompletely re-vegged but did produce a lot of white stigma and additional callexes prior to being pollinated alongside a Nanda Devi breeding grow.

This was a breeding run. Lots of Nanda Devi seeds were produced. The crushed buds dried very fast because this is July and it is hot and dry here. The smoke was harsh from growing seeds and a fast dry. The buzz was mellow and medicine like. Probably THC converted to CBN. I like this weed. The smell is totally ORANGES. This is a small mid size sativa with u-shaped branches. It looks very ornamental. It stretches a lot through various stages of its growth. Especially at flower. The male antlers shoot way up over the canopy. Nanda Devi will grow into a tree if you grow it full season outdoor. For indoor growing it is a little like growing skunk. You will be doing a lot of LST and stem bending if you grow Nanda Devi in a tent. The plant dies not mind having it's stems bent and will cooperate with the space. The seeds take a long time to mature if you breed them. It's worth it because then you and friend's can grow Nanda Devi. Seems like a good CBD strain. The trichome production is thin, these are not sugary buds. The leaves also get you buzzed. It is resiny and you could try making finger hash or extracts. A fun Himalayan strain that is super nice as an outdoor plant and a small challenge as an indoor plant 7-9 star strain. Fun.
