Itās no failure if you learn something and apply that knowledge and first hand experience to your future grows. I had a favourite plant end up a male, so I fertilised two smaller females with it for seed production. Now I have a bunch of seeds to start a new crop.:)

Its hard to tell the sex of a plant until the seasons start to change i also had a male and had to cut it down to save the other 3 and my season

Thank you for sharing this diary. And growing is learning, each grow has a lesson for you ( and every Grower). I messed up alot of things, but most time i could save it anyhow, but a few times ia had to give up on a Plant.

That stalk is as round as my 6 ft Malawi's. The branches are nice and thick. My Northern Lights stalks are just about like that and they are about 3 - 4 footers. Real pretty plant. Nice to see someone else just letting it grow instead of some form of training.
