Halison was harvested on day 91 by removing whole branches and placed in the Cannatrol to dry. After 7 days I bucked them down to individual nugs for curing in a Grove bag. Final dry weight came in at 107 grams of 100% rock solid sticky buds with almost ZERO trimming! Halison was a breeze as an easy feeder, especially sticking to the BuildASoil feeding schedule, which made the whole thing feel truly effortless. I was a bit anxious about the relatively minimal odor throughout the grow but cracking into those first nugs while transferring to the cure bags hit me in the face with an intense funky fuely savory complexity that keeps me coming back for more. I even got confirmation from AWKID breeder Dave that this is a Chem-leaning pheno, which is awesome to share so other growers can reference when hunting for their keepers too. Effects-wise, Jeremy’s BuildASoil nailed it on the Season 6 smoke report with “this will have me forget what I was doing,” and I couldn’t agree more. Hahaha. It’s a wonderfully functional stone, with a great mouth coating smell-to-taste translation, that’s earned a permanent spot in rotation.
This whole diary was my attempt at shining a light on the BuildASoil team, and AWKID genetics, as a big thank you for all the free knowledge and grow improvements shared on their YouTube channel. If you’re looking for incredible genetics and high-quality organic nutrients, definitely check them out!
