This was an organic cultivation in plain soil without the use of any fertilisation or pesticides in a latitude similar to Cali. Plant was protected by transparent plastic roof and open on the sides. Soil was prepared for the previous 8 months with a mix of supersoil, worm humus, perlite and volcanic gravel. A thick drainage layer was placed 20 inches under and the cultivation hole had 40 inches of diameter. I always waited the soil to dry before each irrigation with 6.8 pH water. As this plant, at beginning of flowering, was heavily attacked by Fusarium Oxysporum spp. cannabis I've watered her 3 times with 1.60 gal of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution (1:4 to water). Also I've applied hydrosoluble mix of mycorrizzae/tricoderma/bacillus. It was an incredible achievement to have kept this plant alive for two months. With great buds. Cookies Gelato is a very vigorous easy-to-grow plant, hardy and pests resistant. Also hasn't showed any sign of botrytis (it has been raining for 7days, RH 90%). She has a very short internode spaces until flowering then she has stretched of 250%. This plant don't stinks too much so is a good choice for stealth cultivation. Buds have a fantastic shape, are grey/pale green coloured and are covered with orange pistils.

There are 2 reason to wait for curing resin before processing : 1 scientific and the other both scientific and historic. Is scientifically proven than at 12°C glands loses 15% of original size in 6 months. Traditionally kif is drummed in mid September than stored until January when in those mountains temperatures drop to 10/12°C. The cold restricts matter for another 15 %. So the goal is to process and press the resin when it loses about the 30% of size. Here the magic happens. Smaller (but not lighter) glands stick and melt together much better when pressed and because nothing is destroyed but is transformed, the magic of hashish perhaps it resides precisely in that volume that was lost with aging and that turns into something special. Here some interesting readings links https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7148385/ https://www.researchgate.net/publication/276123397_Size_matters_evolution_of_large_drug-secreting_resin_glands_in_elite_pharmaceutical_strains_of_Cannabis_sativa_marijuana AFGHANI Typical Afghan hashish is processed using mechanical friction, water or tea and lot of heat but isn't pressed, the melted pasta drips into a mold (500 gr/1Kg), it is simply pached after cooling LEBANESE After been crushed kif is roughly hand sieved with tumbling sieves. Jute or cotton bags are filled usually with 200 gr of matured dusty resin and then, 10 or 20 a time, heavily pressed at 7/10 tons. ONLY PRESSURE MORROCCAN Here the final product is processed and packed in two ways: the resin after seasoning is hand kneated often with tea or water, it is given a cylindrical shape, to which the film is wrapped and then softly hand pressed without using forms. This results into dark red/brown soft, sticky and gummy plates. The most common type is made by fulfilling pre-formated plastic bags that after sealing are pressed homogeneously into steel forms usually up to 3 tons. Commercial 100/200 slabs are pressed 5 together often adding some heat getting darker slabs. This results green/golden slabs, less or more hard. HAND WORKED PRESSURE HEAT Everyone of us is capable to do hand worked sticky hash but if U want to obtain a pollen like chunck that crumbles like flour and on the touch feels like velvet the secret is to press homogeneously by using a metal or wooden form, this us more important than the pressure used. For physic laws without a form the pressure energy will be dispersed in the sides resulting uneven. Applying the same pressure into a form it will results homogeneous in each point. This let the trichomes melt together and decarb.

ADVICE THIS CULTIVATION  HAS BEEN BLESSED BY THE LORD OF WEATHER .......... but now fuck off and let it rain........ Sweet Afghan Delicious is a easy to grow strain but it needs some additional cares. My expectations , in a perfect environment for growing cannabis like my garden, have been satisfied, anyway. According to the breeder this plant has finished its cycle as suggested by technical sheet, right before the bad weather SUMMARY Total dry weight 298 grams Sprouted April 27 Flowering on July 26 Harvested September 17 Flowering days 51 Start to flower by 14.32 hours of light Total 130 days of outdoor cultivation Two branches (in sunny exposition), in the last three weeks of flowering, have showed very suggestive signs of root problems. After the cut I've digged the roots but they have looked fine to me. Of course these buds are smaller. Some bud rot spots around, early recognized and removed. Pls note: not a single drop of rain hasn't for the last 4 months ..... PROS Early flowering Extra short flowering time Perfect buds shape Great yeld Resin production Heat resistant CONS Poor pest resistence Needs balanced environment Needs fertilization Smell/flavour could be stronger

Sweet Skunk is a very easy to grow strain and my expectations , in a perfect environment for growing cannabis like my garden, have been satisfied. According to the breeder this plant has finished its cycle as suggested by technical sheet, right before the bad weather. The last days I've found one stem-rot spot and another one on a top bud, no drama. PROS Early flowering Extra short flowering time Short and bushy Typical skunky-like bud's shape Good yeld Solid genetics, heat and stress resistant Smell & Taste No need for curing CONS Smell Don't grow if smell is a problem to you, this strain is insanely stinky, too much.

Pineapple Kush

This is not an easy-to grow strain at least on the outdoors. She needs a lot of space, a lot of defoliation, a lot of nutrients, a lot of care but is not assured that she will reward. She has faced easily heat waves, rain, strong wind, pests. Very resistant to mites and aphids, has a poor resistance to bud and stem rot (the weather was dry). I've analysed the stem after the cut and I've found a large portion at the base of the stem heavily damaged by rot. This is why the three involved branches looked paler. However, these branches reacted by anticipating ripening and frighteningly increasing the production of resin. Unfortunately this damn plant was incredibly leafy and I didn't notice anything. She has a great LTS attitude but needs to be topped indoors and needs continuous and careful defoliation. Flowering starts too late and lasts as expected. The quality and the shape of the buds is very high although the plant was cut too early. They are very dense and resinous. I will not grow Pineapple Kush again. This girl gaves to me 433 grams of weed. These are the results: Buds- 433 grams Trim- 400 grams

This is very-easy-to grow strain, has faced easily heat waves, rain, strong wind, pests. Very resistant to mites and aphids, has a good resistance to mold and bud rot (only 2 little spots in shaded lower buds) Also, is very resistant to rust fungus (RF was attached by tomatoes but didn't hurts grow, confined only to fan leaves). Has a great LTS attitude but needs to be topped indoors as she grows tall and don't like aggressive defoliation. Flowering starts and lasts as expected. This girl gaves to me 505 grams of superior weed, twelve big buds and a 46 grams top cola, in average with expectations. Huge resin production, not sticky but granular, perfect for dry-sift hashish. Buds are all geogeous, perfect shaped, heavy and hard like stone, I definitely recommend Special Kush #1, she worth the price. These are the results: Buds 505 grams Trim 320 grams Scissors Hash 2,5 grams Dry Sift Hash 4,5 grams *plus* three strains 22 grams of dry-ice hash 120 microns 8 grams of bubble hash
