@DurpDankley, Yeah, you mentioned on different post and grow that you kind of are growing that way for data and research if i am correct. It seems like a tall auto, anyways i am doing auto's next, i am looking forward to switching to my 250w L.e.d. for that. Happy New Year's !!

@Sativagrows, Ya think so? I feel that all of my autos have been runty, due to early issues. Overall though I've been happy getting about 1.5 smokable OZ from each. This gal is due for the cop today or tomorrow I think. Note: I'm a week behind on my log, cuz lazy. edit: nah.... gonna push another week.

@Sativagrows, Of Course. The key is to transplant quickly into the ground to allow for significant root development. This year, I germinated in 1-gallon pots and moved directly to the ground. In my first outdoor crops, I used to transplant into 5-gallon pots first and then plant large plants in the ground, which is a mistake.

@Danger_Mouse, That is correct, i used to do something similar unfortunately i learned the hard way except i used red solo cups for seedlings and i was transplanting them into the ground with out having a rim around the roots or a root ball developed and the plants always had problems. I switched to using Jiffy pots but now i transplant the Jiffy after having the seedlings under my 250W L.e.d. in solo cups and then transplanting outdoor or under my 600watt i have no complaints anymore.

In ground i think is better than pots when grown outdoors, i think the temperature resistance it builds in the roots and the microbes are better for the plants pheno's and the race to get to that, but that is just from my experience from this years grow i did indoor and outdoor. Good luck.
