I simply love this strain. The aroma is unique, the potency is very high and the plants are easy to grow. It smells and tastes of pine, mint, diesel, incense, eucalyptus with an amazing hint of liquorice on the exhale.

The plants received twice as much bloom fertiliser compared to my previous DSD33 cycle and perhaps that led to the buds being slightly more compact this time. Otherwise I don't know how to rate these products objectively.

Great, little plug and play cabinet that still works perfectly after many years of use.

Very potent with a complex aroma that is not exactly my taste; too fruity and sweet. And I'll say it again: the advertised possible yield of 700 g/m2 is highly exaggerated. At least with the mother that I used for this grow. I would love to see a diary where it is credibly shown that these yields indeed are possible.

Nice smelling and looking soil without perlite; it's supposed to be airy enough to do without.

After two weeks all clones developed nice roots. I wonder if these products make any difference in rooting speed.

The only fertiliser I can compare with is the organic line by Canna: Biocanna. I did manage to get good results with Biocanna, however, I've always struggled with the dose which had to be up to 10 times higher than what is advised on the bottle. This hasn't been the case with Canna's non-organic line.

Its easy to grow, it needs average nutrient levels. It doesn't grow too tall and when fimmed, it grows into a broomstick shape with short and quite dense side branching. I struggled with a thrips infestation that I couldn't get under control with glue traps and natural predators. Despite this, the result doesn't seem to be affected at all.

Knock out Indica 'high' which I'm personally not very fond of. However, from a more general perspective this is amazing bud. Great aroma, very sticky and very, very strong!! WYSIWYG at Serious, as usual. Didn't weigh the wet buds so the number 229 is an estimate.

Except for the root riot cubes which I liked very much I can't say their other products have a significant effect on the rooting of clones.

The 5 stars cannot properly capture the value of the product. I'm not convinced of big differences between the well-known producers like BioBizz, Plagron or Canna. I want to grow organically in soil and that is probably the main motivation for buying BioCanna.

Great, little plug and play cabinet. Best suited for more compact plants, however, with the right strategy large (sativa) plants can successfully be cultivated as well.

As mentioned before they were difficult to clone, meaning that it took more than 7 days for roots to appear, while the clones start to lose vigour. The only mistake I can think of is that the temperature in the dome was too low (consistent at 22 degrees Celsius). After a difficult start (lasted around 10 days) the huge stretch these plants have after being forced to flower, and thanks to the long flowering time of 70 days, they managed to thrive eventually and rewarded my patience with an amazing yield :-D. The claimed 70 flowering time is questionable. Taking their difficult start into consideration, I think they still would have needed at least 80 days to mature.

Haven't tried anything else so I haven't got anything to compare it with. Have known the brand for as long as it has been on the market. From an ethical perspective I like that it's plant based.

They turned out (much) more compact and required less fertilizer than expected. Very satisfied with a first attempt of AK47, though!
