An awesome result of 9 and a half ounces cut and dry in the end. This capped off my best season ever with 2 pounds yielded from 4 plants. Chunk was perfect from start to finish. I finally got that tang I was looking for. Chunk is ideal for outdoor growing in my area. 10 out of 10

There’s nothing not to love about Jack No dramas in the grow at all. 2 for 2 seeds, no rot , no bugs, no problems with weather. Smelled great through the grow and that same great smell translated into the end product. A huge 9 and a bit ounce result plus 16 grams of good trim was my best this year. Huge rods of buds in the grow were still huge when fully dry. So satisfying. Beautiful smoke too. These classic Dutch strains are right in my sweet spot Bravo 👏🏼

What a pretty plant it is Really long thick heads all over, a visual stunner. Needs training early to get there, but then it’s hassle free. Buds are so fat and tight, which unfortunately leaves it prone to moulding in my humid climate. Lost a bit to mould and had to chop a touch early too, in the end just over 7.5 Oz dry and trimmed. Smoke is so smooth and the stone is long and strong. Almost perfect. The taste is nice, but not anything to rave on about Good though

Awesome result from chunk. 4 and a half Oz of premo bud, which is pretty much faultless. Perfect smoke, sweet smell and taste. The buds dried a kind of golden green colour and just smooth as. Great stuff. Easy grow without hassle, great looking plant with those big dongers on top 😄

My 3rd of this one and they have all been pretty much identical. Really reliable solid strain for outdoors. Only just over 3 oz dry which surprised me a bit. I thought it could have done a bit better but still more than happy with this distinct tasting smoke

Free seed This was another good freebie. Widow is right in my sweet spot for strength. Good grow other than a couple of bugs. Had a big humidity drop while drying and it is a touch over but still tastes good. Decent yield of 3 1/4 oz. Nothing spectacular, but good on all counts

Brilliant shit! Easy grow. Only 10 weeks seed to harvest outside. More than an ounce off each, 2 plants @ 64 grams dry. Of 3 seeds one didn’t make it. One is good but not very Chem tasting, and one is perfect in every way. What an addictive taste from Chemdawg!

Loved Pineapple Express!! 2 plants, 2 ounces in the end. One was better than the other. The tall sativa one tastes classic. It’s not the hardest hitter, but is a class act for flavour. 2 for 2 germination. I really rate G13 labs shit 👍

Very average is the appropriate way to describe this strain. To grow, it's skinny and ugly looking, and the branches aren't strong enough to hold the buds in the end. There is nothing sour or tangie like about this plant. But in the end the smoke was OK and it does have a bit of a nice fruity flavour so that's something. 2oz of nice stash, but I won't rush out and grow this again

This is a good looking plant that is tough for an outdoor grow. Stout with thick stems and fat leaves. It gets a bit bushy and needs defol. Buds are sticky but don't smell much. In the jar the buds don't smell much at all, but in the smoke it's a nice taste and does the job nicely. 56 gms dry.

DNA Holy Grail Kush is some of the best quality I have grown to date. I grew this strain because it's one of a handful of strains in the world that defines a breeder. The quality was there at every point of the grow. Big dark seeds which germinated perfectly. Perfect through the grow, with a small bit of rot (expected in the persistent rain and humidity ) and a few caterpillars the only blemish. Flowers at exactly 9 weeks as advertised. In the end I got 90 grams of premium bud and 10 grams of usable trim. As for the smoke,, awesome taste. Even now it's still a bit grassy in the first weeks, you can still easily tell the signature sweet earthy flavour of the HG Kush. Earthy but not at all harsh, and just the right strength to enjoy all day. It's no wonder this strain has won as many cups as it has, I really recommend this to outdoor growers for the excellent yield and all round quality

Sweet Zkittles has been a very average grow for me. I guess I can't write off Sweet seeds because I've seen some growers on here do well, but my one can only be described as a dud. I did get them from a different seed bank than my others, which may have something to do with the poor quality. Only one of 4 made it, my worst rate ever. It was always behind and weird shaped. In the end the buds are spongey and not that great. I give 4 stars because the yield surprised me (37.5 gms dry), and despite the average taste it actually gets you pretty ripped. I wouldn't rush out and get this one though.

Heaven's Fruit aka Diesel Tangie

Heavens fruit has its share of goods and bads for sue. I enjoyed the grow but you need to be on the ball all the time or you can have issues. Pros... Good germination rate. Easy enough to grow up until late flower. One of the two had the most amazing tangerine smell like nothing I have smelled before. Thick citrus and insanely sticky, it was beautiful to have in the garden. The smoke is a nice high with such a fruity taste, which is improving as it cures too. Cons... It’s stickyness is also it’s downfall, and due to the way the buds form, it is like a trap for mould. After rain the water seems to seep in behind the bud and cos it’s sooo sticky, it doesn’t dry and rots the bud from the stem out. It’s hard to detect, and after pulling out bits as I found them, I still noticed more after the chop which I couldn’t see on the surface. Also I got 2 very different types, one is stockier and less sticky, and pretty much shit. The other is more mould prone and airy, but magic tasting. It a was a cool grow for the amazing smell, and thanks to my mate for the seeds to try.

Harvest for Sour Dragons Auto. A test grow as part of a breeding project of a mate, GW genetics. Fast Buds Sour Diesel Auto xRuby Dragon bx Auto. I can honestly say this is the most fun grow I have had yet. This is the best result I have got from autos outside so far. I scattered a few seeds in the beginning to weed out the males, and select the best growers. I also threw a few in a fixed outdoor environment to see how it would compare to the ones in pots. After taking the best 2 looking fems, and getting 1 fem in the outdoor area, I had 3 completely different phenos. The best was a fat stocky magenta coloured plant which took on the Ruby Dragon character. It was the best yielder of them all, 11.2g. The 2nd plant was taller but more spaced out, straight up and down, and really deep purple. This seemed to be a perfect cross of the two parents, 8.7g The 3rd plant was quite small, only about 4 grams grown in a fixed outdoor environment. It endured storms, heat and filtered sun which affected its growth. It also did not turn purple at all! This one was much closer to the sour diesel parent overall, but only 3.7g. Unbelievably, for all the beautiful smells these had while growing, it is the littlest one that tastes the best!! Full diesel flavour, almost like liquorice. I’ve never tried this before, and man I just love it. The big one has a more sour and floral taste, and the middle one is somewhere in between. Visually these are so pretty to grow. The smell mid flowering is really something. Fruity diesel. Stunning colour too, the middle one went such a deep purple, looking like an oil slick creeping across the deep green. Man I have just loved how quick, discreet and easy these were to grow, and the smoke quality is right up there. A great hit, not too chesty, with each having their own particular diesel flavour. Thankfully I have a few more of these for next season, cos I just love em!

Lemon Cheese gave me plenty of highs and lows for sure. I was set to score it a bit lower, until I finally tried the big girl and she was immediately upgraded. I give Lemon Cheese 8/10 because... Seeds - 2 for 2 which germed easily and grew nice and evenly. Grow - I got 2 very different plants. One short and compact, finished in 16 weeks and gave me 3 and 3/4 ounces. The other plant was way biggerand took 23 weeks. It gave me just short of 6 ounces. Vast differences in smell, grow, taste and quality. The big sativa girl is markedly better than the small one. Got a bit of mould in the end, but after the rain we had, almost all growers I knew got it too, so give a pass there. Buds - Pretty nice, not real dense but plenty of resin on the big one. Solid yield too. Smoke varies so much. The little one is nice and smooth, and distinctly lemon tasting. The big girl, not so much lemon, but some beautiful earthy cream flavour and much more kick! If you decide to grow this one outdoor, you definitely want the most sativa one, but prepare for a looong grow!

Pineapple Chunk

Pineapple Chunk has been my favourite grow to date, and my very first perfect rating. I am happy to give Barney’s Pineapple Chunk a perfect 10 because,,, Seeds - Perfect. Both germed without issue and and grew at an even pace. Handled a transplant well, and bounced back nicely in week 6 when I moved them into the living soil, but didn’t leave enough buffer for the young roots and burned them a tad. Grow - Again, perfect! Absolutely no problems with pests or mould, despite finishing in very humid conditions. I only needed to top twice and chunk took a beautiful shape by itself. Really sturdy branches which handled heavy buds in the wind with no need for supports. For me, the perfect size. Topped out at just over 120cm which is ideal for keeping discreet. So lovely to look at though, big long buds that stretch for the sky. Beautiful smell, especially in the last week. I would have to class chunk as the perfect model for the outdoor grow. Perfect size, strong, easy, quick and just unreal. Buds - Once again,,, perfect. Easy to clean up. She is not at all leafy or shaggy. Chunk is nice and uniform with big fan leaves that don’t crowd the buds. A few smaller ones down low but overwhelmingly nice big chunks in the end. A great harvest. 4 and a half ounces of lovely shit! Beautiful looking sugar coated nuggets. After 2 weeks cure I am loving the chunk. its lovely and smooth and goes down nicely anytime. It is pretty strong shit! And a creeper too! My mates are all loving it, and it’s always really satisfying to blow the lads away with some A grade home grown. I highly recommend Pineapple Chunk if you are considering your next outdoor grow, you won’t be disappointed 🍻👍

This was my 2nd attempt at GHS Jack Herer. Last year I grew him for my first ever grow and did ok. The taste of Jack was a real favourite and I was hoping to recreate the experience again this year. For this grow, I am happy to give Jack a score of 7 because,,,,, Seeds - Pretty good. I bought a 5 pack and ended up with one runt. The rest were good. They germinated well and all grew at about the same rate. Grow - Again pretty good. I did not get either of them as big as I would have hoped, but I also made a few mistakes along the way. Absolutely no pest or mould issues. Jack develops real nice thick looking buds, beautiful flame red hairs and really nice smell. Topped well and handles my conditions nicely. Buds - Above average, but did not deliver the same flavour as last time. This one got me excited because it was so sticky and so nice smelling in the late stages. But once dried, the buds are yet to live up to the same flavour I got from last time. It is early in cure for sure, but the first taste was not where I expected it to be. The hit is a strong one though, and very smooth going down. Lasts a long time. So maybe it depends on the pheno that you get

Fruit Spirit

Fruit spirit is a great addition to my grow experiences. I had a crack late in the season last year and did not do well, so it was sweet to get some revenge and get an improved result. Although small in stature, it surprised me with a better than expected yield in the end. I made mistakes along the way, and could have done better with the soil which may have helped the overall result. Aside from my own mistakes, I am happy to score the Fruit Spirit a 9 out of 10 because... Seeds 7/10 - This was the only real let down. Of 3 seeds this was the only one that worked well. In the first few weeks I could see some unusual shapes of leaves and branches. After topping and LST some branches had some unusual development, some didn’t develop well, others were perfect. One of the buds was so different to the rest, really dense and shaggy looking. Grow 8/10 - Apart from my own mistakes with getting the soil right, it was pretty much hassle free and on track. It is only small, but it was 12/12 as I planted early in the season to get it through quickly. It handled all weather conditions with not a shred of mould and no bugs! Buds 10/10 - Overwhelmingly the best part of Fruit Spirit is the awesome end result. Nice thick buds with a lovely smell. The yield ended up quite a bit more than I was guessing. But it’s the taste that gets a clear 10/10. With white widow and blueberry heritage, it could possibly be the nicest tasting bud I’ve tried to date. So smooth and sweet, even before cure. Packs a real punch too. The next morning, very clear and no stoneover. Can’t say enough for that beautiful taste.
