, Nothing better than your own homegrown, and you know its clean.. that piece of mind alone makes it worth it, even if you have to make hash, dab, oils or whatever with it and you would never find bud with trich's like that on the street. she looks great.

, cheers mate, not sure what to expect but expect I'll prefer it to most of the crap you get on the street!

Can't wait man! I'm still waiting for you to update your MA diary with harvest info though 😉 I've been thinking about Blue Dream'matic next like you have done, as well as perhaps the Rhino Ryder. You got any planned?

,cool! happy for you bro! Enjoy your harvest. You did what I did, chop at cloudy and most brown pistils. After drying and one week in jar, you'll get its true smell and taste.I'm smoking it right now 👌

, Hey man, did it today. There was some temptation to leave it a bit longer, but with all the trichomes cloudy and most of the pistils brown, I figured this was the composition I was after. I have a Fastbuds GSC that I started at the same time which I'm leaving for another week or two, so will be interested to see the effect that extra time has!

, well it looks like yours is 100% going to be a higher yield than mine, saw this coming for a couple of weeks anyway 😜 I'd been having trouble with temps as well these last two weeks, to think that when they started just 8 weeks ago I was having to put the central heating on around the clock!! How long have you got left? I'm harvesting today.

,I see you went organic through whole grow.If you started flushing, just go with plain water is what I would advise.Your leaves look pale colour, that means you'll get smooth smoke. All nutrients left in there are getting derived by the plant itself.

, alright man that has relaxed me a little bit, haha. one more thing I'll ask is do you think I should just continue on with plain water for the remainder, or one last -small- feed for the home stretch?

,your plant already started to mature.Look at those pale green leaves. These are the signs that you are already very closeThere are still plenty of white pistils sticking out straight and buds still need to get mass, this means it's early for harvest.Look at those little bags that shoot out pistils, they are called calyxes. What we call "buds" is a group of calyxes around the same stem. They are still small.Once I see at least half of pistils are brown and curled and some milky trichomes,I get that I'm very close and wait 1 or 2 more weeks. You'll probably be ready to harvest at week 10 or week 11.Normally,I wait for almost all milky trichomes for most THC,don't prefer ambers.Trichomes should look almost all milky until end of week 11,that's an estimation of course, not a strict info.I'm a newbie too but I can understand what is a premature bud.Yours need a little more time.Experience is the most important thing in growing plants in my opinion.Time is passing by,patience and you'll get a great energetic sativa. And your plant looks really good. You won't harvest late btw, don't worry lol it's %100 guaranteed.

, another three weeks? It's the conflict of information here, mainly that most people grow their Mex for about 10-11 weeks by the looks of things, yet more than half of those pistils are darkened and those trichomes perhaps looking cloudy? what should of timeframe would there be between changing color of the trichs? scared of harvesting too early and too late at the same time, oh the joys of being a noob! 😰

, thanks for your well thought out reply. I did think the same thing to myself from the start as far as using meters for every variable and even the idea of chemically altering my freshwater and filtered tap goes. The more you complicate it, the more you have to control its growth, and with that the greater the chance of messing it up is. This is something I might consider in the future, but for now like you say it is overkill. I have a feeling they will be done in just a matter of days. The most recent pictures (day 54) were taken just a couple of hours ago, any hint as to how long I should be expecting?

Dude, trust me,any of the response given with too many detailed info like EC/TDS,foliar sprey or emergency flush are gonna make you worry more about a non-important subject.Your plant looks great and lively.Just don't break its move.Grow nutrients seem a bit high for this point of flowering.I would lower it to exact ZERO gradually.Other than that,I see no signs of deficiency or a problem.Of course,I'm not an expert but I get experience day by day,I read a lot about growing marijuana. What I learned up until now is that you should only pay attention to TEMPERATURE,HUMIDITY,pH and AIR CIRCULATION.If these conditions are met, chances are you will have great buds.No need to confuse your mind.I see your humidity is good at this point, day temps are very good and night temps are good as well.My Mexican Airlines grow just finished yesterday. If I showed you how it looked towards the end,you would be highly surprised. All leaves were dead but I know that it's a pretty normal thing. My friend watered them with pure water ONLY ONCE in their lifespan and they drank all the nutes left in their leaves. But I knew, they were super healthy until that point and they still grew super buds after afterwards. As experts frequently say to me,it's just a weed,no need to worry. If you meet TEMPS,HUMIDITY,pH and AIR CIRCULATION right,it'll already reach its potential.Other than that,it's just a matter of science. We are not scientists,so we grow weed the way we like.If the plant looks good, don't worry. If it has problems,it's not going to be hard to notice.

,sure I'm gonna add new photos to diary. You made a great choice of strain obviously, patience a bit and you'll get super results. It looks like a pure sativa,I think that's why it takes a bit more than other strains.I grew Gorilla Glue in my previous grow,it took 16 weeks too,was Sativa dominant. What can I say from this point up is that this plant gives a LOT OF buds;solid, compact and robust. Those estimated schedules by breeders,I just don't rely on them much.Looking for milky trichomes and made it to this point.Enjoy your journey, you'll get good results. You are doing very well for your first grow.SCROG is a nice idea too. A little note from me,a newbie grower : Trics still continue to develop after harvest.I just harvested one of my plants few days ago with all milky trics,no ambers. As I zoom in now,I see a few ambers (only %5 but there are).Think about it.Wish you a good grow.

, I've some epsom salts (normally they're just used in the bath in this household!) I put a some in the feed a couple of weeks into veg, but haven't done it since. Can't hurt to try again, will let you know how it goes man. there I was thinking I might get through this whole grow without any issues! Yours are still looking perfect, any predictions for your yield?
