Orange Bud Auto Strain Review Having wrapped up my latest grow of Orange Bud Auto, it's time to reflect on how this autoflowering version stacks up against its photoperiod counterpart and overall performance. Growing Experience Growing Orange Bud Auto was a solid experience. The plant showed impressive vigor and resilience, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced growers. However, in hindsight, topping this strain might not have been the best approach. If I were to grow it again, I’d stick to low-stress training (LST) up until the preflower stage. This technique better supports light penetration and airflow without the potential yield dip I observed with topping. Aroma and Flavor The scent profile of Orange Bud Auto is pleasant and recognizable, though it didn’t quite reach the aromatic depth of the Tangie from my Fastbuds outdoor grow. The fragrance leans towards sweet, with subtle citrus and floral notes, but the true highlight is in its taste. On the palate, you can expect a classic citrus zest mingled with earthy undertones, delivering a flavorful smoke that’s enjoyable yet understated compared to some more pungent strains. Effects and High The high from Orange Bud Auto strikes a balanced chord between uplifting sativa and calming indica influences. It delivers a smooth, long-lasting buzz that keeps you engaged and upbeat without veering into couch-lock territory. It isn’t overly racy, making it an excellent strain for daytime and evening use. The high is mellow enough for creative pursuits, listening to music, or socializing with friends. Potency and Suitability This isn’t a powerhouse strain, so if you’re a heavy smoker with a high tolerance, it might not hit the mark for intensity. However, it’s perfect for those looking for an easy-going high that doesn’t overwhelm. The effects are best described as a pleasant, sustained euphoria with a clear head and a relaxed body—a great option for those who prefer a balanced, mild experience over the hard-hitting strains. Final Thoughts Orange Bud Auto is an appealing strain for those who appreciate a nuanced, sociable high and are looking for an everyday strain that can transition seamlessly from afternoon activities to evening relaxation. It may not be as terpene-rich as some of the more modern varieties, but it brings a solid, enjoyable experience that pays homage to the original Orange Bud lineage.

Seems to be a good lineup. But it's the first time growing with coco and mineral fertilizer. So I have no comparison. But plants seem to like it. The grow fertilizer has very high nitrogen ratio. One plant had a nitrogen toxicity though I only gave 2/3 of the recommended amount in preflower phase. I recommend for Auto flowers to give half of the dosage of the feeding chart.

They work like they should. I'm satisfied and will use it again.

Solid products. Only used pH+ and pH - to adjust the pH. Did work like it should.

Tangie Smoke Report Growing and smoking Tangie has been a pure joy from start to finish. The unique effects and flavors varied significantly between the different harvest times, making this strain truly versatile. Smell and Flavor: The first sample had a very citrusy taste with light orange notes, and the flavor lingered pleasantly after a hit from my vaporizer. After full curing, the scent when opening the jars was delightful. The later harvested buds offered a fuller taste, blending light citrus with a hint of tangerine, enhancing the overall experience. Effects: The first harvest, taken with 20% clear and 80% cloudy trichomes, delivers an energetic and cerebral high. It sets in quickly, like a wave of euphoria that travels from your body right to your brain. It’s perfect for creative activities—I picked up my guitar and completely lost myself in the music, making it great “guitar weed.” It’s also a fun social high; when shared with friends at a city celebration, everyone felt energized and had a great time. The later harvested buds, taken with 20% amber trichomes, offer a slightly different vibe. The high still kicks in fast but feels more balanced between energy and relaxation, maintaining creativity with an uplifted mood. It’s perfect for outdoor activities, and when combined with nature, it gives off a “every little thing, is gonna be alright” vibe—pure bliss. Having both options has been a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend experimenting with different harvest times to explore a strain’s full potential. Final Thoughts: That’s it for now, folks! It was a pleasure sharing my harvest report of this season’s standout strain. She's the clear winner (so far). Gorilla Cookies Smoke Report Appearance: The buds are airy and not as dense as I would have hoped. While they don’t have the most impressive bag appeal, they make up for it in other areas. Aroma and Flavor: The scent of Gorilla Cookies is predominantly skunky, with hints that lean more towards Gorilla Glue than the typical sweet Cookies aroma. The flavor mirrors the scent, offering that skunky profile with subtle undertones of its Gorilla Glue lineage. Although the aroma and taste are good, they still need some additional curing to fully develop a richer and more intense experience. With time, I expect those earthy and skunky notes to become more pronounced, adding depth to the overall profile. Effect: The high starts with a noticeable head buzz that lasts for about 20 minutes, gradually giving way to a soothing body effect. This body high comes on slowly, relaxing you without leading to overwhelming drowsiness. It’s a nice balance, making it suitable for unwinding in the evening or enjoying a laid-back afternoon. Overall a nice strain. I give Gorilla cookies a 9.4 out of 10. Perhaps with a little bit more time for ripening and with better growing skills it could be a 10 of 10.

Appearance: The buds of Blue Dream are visually striking, showcasing a blend of deep green hues and bright orange pistils. In terms of density, the buds are more compact than those of Gorilla Cookies and Banana Purple Punch, but not quite as dense as Tangie. Despite the challenges during the grow, the remaining buds are well-formed and have a nice structure. I trimmed very accurately, prioritizing quality over quantity, resulting in a clean, well-manicured final product. The frosty layer of trichomes further enhances the overall appeal, indicating high resin content. Aroma: Initially, after jarring, there was a slight hay-like smell that had me concerned. However, after about five days of curing, the scent transformed beautifully into a sweet and pleasant aroma, dominated by berry notes. The subtle transition from hay to a rich, fruity fragrance was reassuring and highlighted the importance of patience during the curing process. Flavor: After just a few days of curing, the initial hay-like scent transformed into a sweet, berry-like aroma. The flavor profile of Blue Dream carries through on this promise, offering a smooth and pleasant smoke with subtle berry notes and a hint of sweetness. While the taste is already enjoyable, I anticipate that with a longer curing process, the flavors will only deepen and become even more refined, enhancing the overall smoking experience. Effects: Blue Dream delivers a well-balanced high that starts with a gentle cerebral uplift, perfect for enhancing creativity and focus. As the high progresses, a relaxing body sensation sets in, easing any tension without causing sedation. This makes Blue Dream a great choice for daytime use or when you need to stay active and productive. The effects are long-lasting and provide a calm, euphoric experience. Overall, I would rate this strain a 9.5 out of 10! Bravo to Fast Buds—this is truly exceptional breeding quality.
