@the_connoisseur420, my 400w sits at 12 inches above the top of my canopy and i take the temperature reading from that area and it sits around 26o... i only have a 9 inch oscillating fan in there with a 4"filter and extraction fan, and my tent is also 1msq so i dont think your light being that far from the plant is causing you any issues man imo. she looks great though dude.. and so damn frosty!

@ganjaman94, like budking said yours are definitely fatter and my baby looks good in the pics but in reality she stopped packing on weight around week 5 or 6. Probably cal mag deficiencies that I didn't correct early enough. Oh well at least I'll have some nice hash :smiley:

@ganjaman94,not exactly sure of the science behind it but if it isn't broken and certainly doesn't harm it then I tend not to change it. Yeah I went through a phase of bubble hash and don't get me wrong it always got me high just found it lost a little on the flavour. Never made any shatter and try to stay clear of any chemical extraction although it looks so bloody clean and yummy! Rosin is nice but always breaks my heart squashing lovely buds. Dry sifting is so simple and all you need is a couple of screens off eBay which are about £5-10 each and i use a box to shake it in which is around £15-20 best flavour and super strong :smiley:

@islandgrows89,thanks for the advice man. Yeah I've put the light up another 4-6 inches to be on the safe side. It's a 400w in a metre Sq tent so she should have enough light....just being greedy I suppose. Haha always high when posting in here :relaxed:

@ganjaman94, I've pretty much always done a dark period no more than 24 hours although some people go for 48 hours. It's just personal preference and personally I think it helps to dry it out until the soil is almost bone dry and about to wilt so another 24 hours if nothing else allows it time to dry. Look forward to seeing bubble hash run :) I used to used to use the bubble bags but felt it took away all the flavour so switched to dry sifting through a series of screens to achieve close to full melt hash...yummy!

@unknown23,thanks man! Light is around 12 inches from the tops but i have put it a little higher to be on the safe side. Temps are pretty low so shouldn't be heat stress

@BigDaddyK, yeah I did see she was a quick flowering strain (probably one of the reasons I went for her) last feed tonight then onto flush.

@the_connoisseur420, Small and simple water filters make all the difference. Best wishes on the issue buddy :D

@Ripper, yeah could be, she's supposed to be a quick flowering plant but I'm at least 14-18 days away from finish. Last feed tonight then water/flush. Running a 400 watt in a 1sq metre tent and temps are on the low side (22-25) but I have raised the light slightly to see if that helps. I'm probably being a little paranoid as she's my only plant!

@ganjaman94, it's one of those things that has never been proven or disproven. I like to give it 24 hours of darkness before the final chop but it's personal preference. I'd also try and chop when the pot is dry and definitely have a trim up of the main fan leafs and larger leafs before chopping (a lot easier then when it's upside down)
