The most important contribution that any man can make to a garden -- even more important than water or compost-- is the energy he himself puts into the soil while cultivating it.

Dopamine isn't about the pleasure of receiving a reward, but the motivation and excitement in the anticipation and striving for that reward, making the journey itself, not just the destination, the core of our drive and satisfaction. The heaviest things in life aren't iron & gold, but un-made decisions. The reason you are stressed is that you have decisions to make and you aren't making them. Dopamine is not the pursuit of happiness, but the happiness of pursuit. This is the key: set your own personal goals. Smart people learn everything they can from everyone they can; ordinary people learn from experience; stupid people already have all the answers. The deeper one delves, for every answer there are two more questions, layers on the endless onion.

You don't become confident by shouting affirmations in the mirror, but by having a stack of undeniable proof that you are who you say you are, outwork your self-doubt. Confidence is evidence... nothing more. You are confident because you have driven 10,000 times, you are confident because you have spoken 10,000 times. People think confidence is a feeling, but it's not. If you want more confidence, then you need to create evidence, take more shots, collect more data, build more experiences, take more risks; fail, confidence doesn't come first; it is the reward you get for doing the work. no one else wants to do. I haven't failed 10,000 times, I've just found 10,000 ways that don't work. Once you know the signs of every possible road to failure, there is only what works.

Although CO2 is a naturally occurring gas that both humans and plants use, it is invisible and odorless and can be fatal at high-levels. If you’re supplementing carbon dioxide in your grow room, ensure there are no leaks in any CO2 devices and always use a CO2 monitor and alarm. 0.02% Life unsustainable 0.03% Life OK 0.04% Current ambient atmospheric co2 0.04%-0.1% =400-1000ppm standard indoor co2. 0.1%-0.2% =1000-2000ppm (prolonged exposure drowsiness). 0.2%-0.4% = 2000-4000ppm (Headaches, fatigue, stagnant, stuffiness, poor concentration, loss of focus, increased heart rate, nausea). 1% is toxic 5% quick death.

"Cannabis will not stop flowering if the lights are turned on for a few minutes once or twice during the 2-month-long flowering cycle. If a light is turned on for 5 to 30 minutes—long enough to disrupt the dark period—on 3 to 5 consecutive nights, plants will start to revert to vegetative growth." "Less than one half of one foot-candle of light (0.1ppfd) from sunlight will prevent cannabis from flowering. That is a little more light than is reflected by a full moon on a clear night. Well-bred indica-dominant plants will revert within three days. Sativa-dominant plants take four to five days to revert to vegetative growth. Once they start to revegetate, it can take from four to six additional weeks to induce flowering again!"

The concentration of oxygen in water is higher than in soil that is saturated with water. Water culture generally contains more oxygen than waterlogged soil because it is often changed from time to time. Also, oxygen moves about 10,000 times slower in water than it does in the air, but moves much more slowly (320,000 times less than in air) when the soil pores are filled with water (Armstrong & Drew, 2002).

Remember to clean terracotta stakes in mild acid after grow. Submerge the stakes in a solution of 1 part distilled white vinegar to 3 or 4 parts water. Let the stakes soak for 20 to 30 minutes. You will hear a fizzing sound as the acid reacts with and dissolves the mineral salts. Use a stiff-bristled brush or an old toothbrush to scrub away the loosened residue. Rinse the stake thoroughly in clean water to wash away any leftover vinegar. BOOM good for next grow!
