I did not use it during this midget grow. Bonsanto Max blowers were strong enough to handle the air.

Still standing and looking sturdy enough for some more runs.

It’s always hard to tell if Calmag does something until you run into a deficit. Let’s say using it relieves my mind about that topic.

Really a good growing light, although I wish I had more means to control it automatically.

I don’t know how to rate her. Cholrothilda’s growth was disappointing, but as written she wasn't nursed in my crib, so maybe she was stressed too much in her early days. Compared to her growth, harvest is quite good still. Should be something around 30–40 g when dried. Not much, but the quality looks, smells and touches very promising. Completely sticky, with a nice, somewhat decent citrus-like smell that will not leave your fingers for a long time. She did much better than her sister who produced only the tiniest popcorn buds I’ve ever seen which do not have any real substance at all. And who did not look like Cannabis but rather like some twiddly herb. I also cannot really say if the extra spectrum lights helped. I think I noticed her buds growing more when I turned on FIR for longer, but she behaved different than any of her predecessors. The lights did not ruin the harvest as a synopsis.

I like Hesi. Guess it contributed to the bud quality a lot but could not do anything about the growth when I received her.

Good tent. Don’t know how long the reflective side will last, but surely quite some more grows.

I wish they would have an API, but besides from that plants really love them.

Whoo-hoo! Please note the numbers(553 g wet) are from the first harvest and the bottom layer still grows, so there’ll be 100–150 g more to add next week or so. Hope the first harvest has dried until then, because my drying chamber is completely filled now. This is an incredible strain, and a lot of thanks to @divineseeds for sending me their seeds for free. Even if the diary might not be a winner, I surely am one with the result so far. I found them extremely easy to grow, and while their height stayed a bit below the breeder’s numbers (I am glad they did), Divine Seeds absolutely do not lie when they say Opium delivers a load of buds. The ones from lady #1 are more fluffy as already stated, but they still look brilliant. Lady #2 supersedes everything I’ve seen so far. I love the density of her buds, and the colors are still amazing even when hung up for drying. The one mold I found did not come back, and as I said I can only attribute that to 95% outside humidity which drove the tent’s atmosphere into similar (though still lower) levels. So a great beginner strain, but from the looks and smell I am sure it’s not only rewarding for beginners. Day 92: Harvested #1 fully for a total of 654 g wet now. Buds are almost black now, and lady #2 gets a full light day to stress her for the final cut too. The rest fell on day 99.

It’s hard to tell which component made what. As written I tested HPE instead of the usual grow fertilizer, and I am pretty sure you could run a full grow only with that fertilizer. They are still very much alive and kicking, waiting for final harvest, and I am very pleased how pleasing they developed. Even if I stressed #1 a bit too much for perfect results.

So again, yield could very probably be better, but it is compensated by the amazing smell of this strain. Flowery and aetheric wood-like in its hear note, like pine. Never smelled a strain like this before. Buds have already dried very well when I hung them for final drying. I almost ruined the sturdy scissors cutting the tall one. Maybe I’ll take a bot with my the next weeks and let you know in between, or I’ll back back in 2 weeks for final review. Really a great strain. Somewhat sweet, but I could not really describe it well. Maybe a small hint of cherry, with an earthy sub note that bends greatly. Can absolutely compare with Pineapple. It doesn’t want you wash your mouth; instead, a nice, fruity taste remains. And it’s quite strong and does not really motivate for long tasks. Rather something for the evening, as the name suggests anyway.

Surely my nutritient handling can be improved, with some early signs of nitrogen deficiency when I was surprised how hungry they get. But overall I never feared for my plants and saw visible gains after each fertilisation. Happy to have found Hesi, although maybe I’ll try their bio fertilisers in the future for some comparison too. I especially like their Root Complex and PowerZymes. Brought very fast and astonishing improvements to my room plants as well.

Really good and basically sufficient for a 60 x 60 cm tent. With my Raspi control going, sure, I’d like to have some lights in the future that maybe support sunrise simulations and an even more natural lighting. I still hope for a supplier to open its API for remote control without making their apps mandatory. Besides from that, I think you cannot make much wrong by using these LEDs.

It’s an ok tent. A bit of reflective surface left, and there are some tiny spots in the door where the LED lights shine through, so I guess it is not built for eternities. Besides from that, easy to build and stable enough.

This was only meant as a support for the undergrowth when I realised why so many recommend scrogging or similar techniques. It did its job, I guess, but this type (I switched to a 4-winged single-spot 40 W bulb) produced some flickering only visible in smartphone camera which I could not see in the otherwise brillant room-plant LEDs they offer.

So she pre-dried for about a week now, most branches were already brittle and the top cola not that sticky anymore when I finally cut her. I am pleased to find my small store room (with a tightly closing door) has almost ideal drying conditions. Should only take a handful of days until I can start curing the buds and maybe describe some first test impressions. With stem being maybe 80% dry, I would expect a yield around 40–50g. Let’s see … Second Pineapple followed on day 67. Not as fully dry as her sister weighing 83 g half wet, which I guess will bring about 25–30 g. Day 77 (Sigh, incidentally deleted all this text before saving …): After the minimum curing time elapsed, I tested more intensively. And wow! Yes, the yield has not been enormous, but I learnt quite a few things and will approach the next grow differently. Anyway, somewhat around 70g (I didn’t put it on scale after fermentation) isn’t bad either. And while the quantity might not be amazing, the fluffiness of the buds is completely misleading. Even after they dried to good smokability now (but I keep them in curing glasses further), even in the lowest, most fluffiest one there’s always an extremely gluey core hidden inside. Which, when heated in an appropriate way, produces an extremely fruity smoke. Some citrus notes, more like oranges, behind a massive fruity complex which is more like a very mature pineapple: some deep, dark notes, a small acidic touch, and the complete opposite of wanting to have something to flush your mouth with urgently. Law says you must not share your crop with others, so of course I don’t. 😇 But everyone of my friends I describe the taste to says it would be the most tasty pineapple they ever imagined to smoke. And right they are! 😁 It does not send you into the couch but it won’t get you into much physical activity as well as it is producing at least 20 minutes of deep confusion and wandering thoughts in a more or less timeless state. Really somewhat mildly hallucinogenic, and if these are considered around 19% "only", I don’t know if I need to try stronger types. Thanks a lot, @fast_buds! An amazing, easy and fast to grow strain, ideal for the first grow. Will definitely not be the last time I bought their seeds.
