Harvest day was 89. Frosty plant, density is lacking, lots of leafs, some mutation, slow growing but big in the end, smells fruity sweet, good yield. 50/50 dense and fluffy buds even tough there was under canopy lightning. This Strain or at least the Pheno I had only really came trough in the last few weeks so don't worry to much if it doesn't take of as fast, maybe you will be surprised as I was!

Used it for germinating diluted 1 drop to 10ml water, worked great, lots and fast root growths.

Usual Calmag, didn't use it much, not good not bad.

Again and again a good light but light spread is bad in a tent, do not go for it rather go for a wider light to achive a more even light spread.

Lacks a hole at the bottom for air intake and top hole should be wider, otherwise good, no zipper problems or anything, 200cm height would be great as well instead of 180cm.

Overall great strain. No mold or anything, vigorous growth, easy to train, stems did bend and not snap but are stiff enough to hold their weight. Buds are very dense, some might think the buds are a little small but there are a lot of them, good sizes in my opinion, perfect little ready to take with you buds. Even the buds are the bottom are dense, I had lights at the bottom but even inside the canopy with little light they are dense! Plant turned purple wherever there was intense light on it, visible on the short clip I took of a top branch where below the bud where there is shadow from the bud above is the branch is green and a little lower where light reaches it turned purple. This purpeling in my opinion is a great and normal feature in plants overall, probably do not expect a purple plant unless you go with intense lightning and high CO2 values to handle it. 9/10 because it hermed at the very end, didn't hurt the result because the plant was done but it would be nice if it wouldn't do it to maybe let it go some more and trade THC for more CBN and even more yield, total yield is great as it is but more is always better :) Taste: Minty fresh like Wrigley's Spearmint gum.

A lot to defoliate but a good Strain, sadly I got a different Pheno this time and that one had Bananas at the very end of its cycle, about 2 weeks before harvest. Considering all probably a good harvest anyway. Consistant big yield.

Good Light but not meant for a grow tent, better use a wider bar style light to get a more even light spread over the area.

Did or did not do something, I don't know, would not recommend or advise against it.

Lacks bottom ducting holes, no option to add intake filtered air with a filter box for example. Other than that a solid tent.

Bad light spread for a 2x4 if you place it in the middle you only have a fraction of the light on the sides, 1000ppfd to 600ppfd or so when close. The solution would be to place it higher with more intensity to spread the output BUT if you plants go big and you can't give more distance you are fucked. 2 of these in a 2x4 and then dim it down would be a good option to increase efficiency due to cooler running and better light spread overall.

Great strain with extreme potential! If you know what you are doing this a GREAT strain to get GREAT results, one of my 3 Northern Lights became a cripple and didn't do much that's why I replaced it but the others were great, probably just a bad seed nature is nature, things happen. Smells like your classic european weed earthy and some pine, nothing special but not bad either, a classic! Had to defoliate ALOT like every day up until mid/late flower but it was worth it. Super stress tolerant strain, did topping, twisting, bending, tied it down, cropping early, defoliating all the time, the charcoal filter inline fan dropped on them once by accident, some branches snapped and the plant didn't care, I tied them up and it grew more and more never noticed stunting whatsoever it continuously grew whatever I did to it.

Pros: - OK growth - barely had to defoliate - frosty - hard nuggs on top, but also lower ones are OK considering they didn't get much light because I placed to many plants in my tent. Cons: - advertised XXL yield by RQS is a joke, straight up lies, not only on my plant, pretty much on all diaries I've seen. - advertised 65-70 days is a nope, only harvested because I needed space for my TRUE XXL Northern Lights. - advertised terpenes are a nope for me, smells nothing like it, mine smells fresh blue cheese (gagged) - I expected uniformity with F1's, if you look for other Orion F1 grows you will see each looks different. Overall I do NOT recommend the Orion F1 Update 25.01.24 After some weeks of curing the taste and smell totally changed, it smells like candy now, taste is great, THC is pretty high and super sativa, zero indica feeling. Overall still wouldn't recommend to buy it, there are better strains (for me).
