We’re thrilled to announce the latest update to our platform, designed to make discovering and learning about strains easier, more visual, and more informative than ever.
One of the first things you’ll notice is a new scale right under the strain properties, showing the average THC content. On top of that, we’ve added a visual representation of the strain’s effects, making it simple to get key information about a desired strain at a single glance.
Next, you’ll see a brand-new “Gallery” tab next to the “Harvest” tab, where you can explore all the photos related to the strain. It’s a fantastic way to get a closer look at the strains you love, uploaded by real Grow Diaries users.
But the main highlight of this update is our expanded strain family tree. You can now view the parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents of a desired strain, giving you deep insight into its genetics and the origins of its traits—going back three generations.
This feature not only keeps you better informed about a strain but also provides a broader understanding of why a specific strain looks the way it does, tastes the way it does, and produces the effects it does
Beneath that, you’ll find suggestions of other strains created with your chosen genetics, making it easy to discover alternatives that might suit your preferences or help you find a new strain that could become your next favorite.
We’ve also introduced a new comparison chart that lets you evaluate the original strain alongside suggested alternatives that share similar traits.
This chart provides detailed information on each strain’s type, THC content, effects, and dominant terpenes, giving you the insights needed to make confident, informed decisions before choosing the next strain that will go into your garden.
