Headstorm was an absolute pleasure to grow. She grows tall, but also very stout... with the right Topping/LST regimen, of course. Her colors turn almost tropical using just a small bit of stress during her final weeks, thus adding to her beauty.
Headstorm is a magical experience from your first contact with her. Her odor is fragrant and perfumey (not a word, I know), with a base of musk and a palate tasting of tropical fruits. Her smoke is smooth and sweet, as if you've inhaled fruit zest. Even larger bong rips will go down surprisingly smoothly. This does create a slight over-consumption risk for less experienced smokers...
And Headstorm's psychedelic properties are noteworthy. Headstorm begins as a very clear-headed high and imparts moderate relaxation to your lower back, but transitions into a higher-intensity experience that characterizes Indica-Dominant Hybrid strains - in addition to a slight, though pleasant, pressure in your temples.
This strain is very well disposed to the Netflix/Chill experience. Users may elect to partake in Headstorm if they seek to tuck away into a quiet corner of a party or engage in calm, open-ended conversation. When it comes to higher-intensity physical or social activity... well, this might not be the strain for the occasion.
It should be noted that I've grown at least one [1+] Brothers Grimm Tester Seed for every one of my grows over the last 2 years. Every grow yields the same result: BG Testers are always among the largest, most robust plants in the tent... Hands Down! I still have 8 of these seeds left, and the seed pack cost me .50 on sale! To say that this strain is a painfully obvious bargain would be the understatement of the century!
Notably, I hesitantly awarded this strain a score of 9/10. I love the intensity of the high, but it could be overwhelming to the Beginner Smoker. Even for an Experienced Smoker, an unexpectedly strong bong hit can send you into couch-lock.
At the end of the day, you will not be disappointed with this strain. Cross her path, and you will not forget the experience!
