Grape Juice Box

Plant Morphology Grape Juice Box is an easy to grow strain. Most plants have above average internal spacing and a high calyx-leaf ratio, promoting good airflow and easy trimming. Bud shape (high density regardless) varies from stacked spears to more rounded, standalone nugs. Expect an array of sugar-covered purples and deep maroons to develop late into flower. Outliers had only hints of purples which could still be seen speckled in the buds. Terpenes Terps varied across phenos, with dominant profiles being musky gas or sharp pine and lemon, all backed by full-bodied sweet grape-adjacent undertones that turn a bit rancid/funky as they cure. Top terp combos on our favorite 3 phenos were: limonene/linalool/caryophyllene, terpinolene/caryophyllene/myrcene, and caryophyllene/limonene/linalool. Effect A jet pack to relaxation. More of an evening/bedtime smoke than a daytime one. Grape Juice Box is great for mindless tasks including but not limited to: washing dishes, watching TV, organizing the pile of unmatched socks on the chair next to your bed, doom scrolling, thinking about what snacks you want but not wanting to get up to get them, falling asleep without brushing your teeth. Notes from the Grower(s): The Grape Juice Box was a colorful, sugar monster with an assortment of complex terpene profiles that ranged from lemon/pine to chemical/grape to baby poop/spice. Some plants had stronger terpenes than others, but we noted a sweet undertone in all of them. About 40% of the plants we tested ran on the leggy side with long internodal spacing, but as a whole, this cultivar had really nice lateral branching and naturally produced several main colas without topping or training. The resin on several of the plants was gritty which suggests they may be good extract producers. These plants shined most in the final 10 days of flower. They all developed striking purple and maroon coloring, and the abundant trichome production and complex smells really made them stand out as a strain with amazing bag appeal. Bud shape ranged from golf ball to spears, density was high across the board, and yield was medium. All of the plants finished around day 55, making for a quick turnaround.
