How come White Opium cannabis strain looks and smells amazing? That’s a package of tremendous genetics along with clever breeding! Extraordinarily psychoactive and productive Opium, a variety of our own design, was crossed with the world’s favorite White Widow. Obviously, this formula mixes Brazilian and Afghani landrace marijuana (on the Opium side) with Southern Indian and a different Brazilian Sativa — the genetic base of White Widow. A lot of research computing was then applied to facet the most desirable features of this new genotype. The new strain was repeatedly crossed with its parents, then certain phenotypes proceeded to be bred with one another. Eventually, our reward was this mid-height bush with extremely thick trichome growth and a rich flavor: lemon, pine, juniper and berries. White Opium is a strongly sedative medical strain that experts have so far estimated as a more potent example of “white” Indica marijuana like White Rhino, Sugar Daddy, etc. Growing this cannabis is a fun and easy journey with generous yield at the end if resources (space, light, nutrients, proper watering) are provided sufficiently. Both parent varieties are famously sturdy and stress-resistant — these qualities have been promoted in White Opium throughout the breeding stage. In soil, 18-20 liters root space is required for a full-size indoor plant. Non-soil environments have been seen as faster and more productive compared to soil, however the fragrance and flavor are better revealed in natural conditions. Most White Opium plants need about 2 months of vegetation — with proper training like ScroG that’s enough for strong-built bushes with huge yielding potential. The scent is strong, fruity and piney tones prevailing through vegetative phase. When switching to bloom, this flower begins to gain peppermint and citrus hints additionally. Blooming White Opium looks exotic, like a plant from another world! The features of both parent strains are recognizable: the pineapple-like shape of buds is inherited from the tropical part of lineage, while the overall broad branchy structure and wild resin concentration remind of oriental cannabis. Ripening plants look “frosty”, all the gleaming crystals contrasting with greenery and orange stamens. Ready for outdoor harvesting in the last fortnight of October. Well-grown and properly cured White Opium buds can be regarded as gold in terms of cannabis. This unforgettable flavor resembles a pineapple juice and vermouth cocktail with a teaspoon of mojito. While it wears out, serious changes take place in the user’s perception. 7-10 minutes after smoking nothing remains as it was! White Opium is one of the most psychedelic strains in existence that newbie smokers should be very careful with. Unusually, it somehow combines cerebral stimulation with a profound stoning influence: like on a slow-motion roller coaster, your mind goes high and sinks down unexpectedly. By the way, small portions of this two-sided weed make for communication, kill off fatigue. Rich in CBD, THC and other cannabinoids, this medical marijuana has a great potential for treating chronic and acute pains, anxiety and PTSD, diabetes, appetite and sleep disorders, spasms and seizures. White Opium is best consumed at night time. The effects last for 3-4 hours.
