Frisian Dew

Frisian Dew ist eine der besten Sorten für das Deutsche Klima, ich brauche zu der Sorte nicht viel zu erzählen, seit Jahren bewährt. Allerdings aufgrund des bescheidenen Wetter 2024 nicht fertig geworden.

Update 25.11.2024: Ein erster Rauchversuch im Vaporisator lieferte erstaunliche Kräuter- harzige Düfte und Aromen. Es ist ein ausgeglichenes, sanftes High. Gut zum Musik hören, tanzen und Wohlfühl-Aktivitäten. ------ Die Frisian Dew ist erstaunlich resistent gegen Schimmel und Schädlinge. Gut tut ihr auf jeden Fall ein entblättern gegen Ende der Blütezeit um Schimmel zu vermeiden. Die Frisian Dew im Garten wurde vom Wind etwas zur Seite gelegt, was jedoch nicht tragisch war, da sie viel weniger dicke Blüten hatte und und dementsprechend auch weniger schimmelanfällig war. die Pflanze im 75 l Topf hatte sich zu einem Giganten entwickelt, der festgebunden werden musste um bei Wind nicht mit Topf umzukippen. Es gab insgesamt bei dieser Sorte etwas Schimmel aber verglichen mit den anderen Sorten am Wenigsten. Ich hatte 2 Pflanzen vorgezogen, eine mit dicken Blüten und Buds und sehr ertragreich, die andere im Garten wesentlich schlanker und später blühend, dafür aber auch resistenter. Die Ernte muss gut duchgeplant werden, bei der Menge an Erntegut, das anfällt. Es sollte Platz zur Verfügung stehen. Nachteilig ist die Größe insofern, da Schimmel in den oberen Knospen übersehen werden kann und er sich dann leichter ausbreitet. Der Rohtrim ist aufwendiger im Vergleich zu Durban Poison und Shaman, die Knospen sind getrocknet allerdings fester und kompakter. Solch eine Erntemenge ist ein mehrjähriger Vorrat.

This plant wasn´t as weather resistant as I hoped it would be, but still the best result compared to my other outdoor plants. It has deep purple Buds with some purple trichomes. Got 7g of dried Buds and ~20g of minibuds and trim. The effects are pretty balanced, rather weak, perfect for daysmoke

Frisian Dew - plant #2 07.07.24 Flower Day 50 Frisian Dew - plant #1 09.07.24 Flower Day 52 Both Hermaphrodite :( - to be fair, it may be that the change in light cycle from flower week 5 on caused it. Till that point everything looked good, but in the end no one can say what was the cause. I realised there were bananas and male balls at the very end. :( Damage was not big. 3 months later I can say, there were only few seeds, maybe 15-20 all together. Plant #2: The one DP recommends to look for. Nice sweet and sour wild berries with sweet nutty, earthy undertone. Also sour smell and taste, similar to the Cheese when smoked but milder and more fruity. Plant #1: seems that it was meant to become a piney sativa-like plant with long colas and a flowering cycle of at least 9 weeks.What a pitty it built these bananas. Maybe because of pollination by the pther Frisian? Hahhaa. No one knows in the end. I grew this strain several times guierilla, and was always one the most reliable. Everyone who knows her does not need any extra info. Good hybrid effect, most phenos good for daytime smoke. Not too strong if you smoke not too much. There are great phenos from very vigorous and sticky green, more compact to very stretchy with pink, violet, to very dark and completely violet like the "Purple #1". Most of them have a sweet piney, herbal smell and taste. I like it very much, especially this sour-berry type, it is more on the sweet skunk side, but it get's a bit boring after a while. And I am honest, now there were too many hermis and so on. So I only rate it 7/10. Still very strong, but I would only recommend outdoors only and natural light only! Results are best this way. Then it deserves at least 9/10. :) Ciao.

Frisian Dew#3 makes a Real nice relaxesion a littlebit tripy ist like in a dream very nice high beside being the less sticky plant the cure doing good here to from hay to lemony and the high is doing its job thats how i like my bud Frisian Dew#2 had the biggest buds i got mould and a very sticky plant Number 2 in the truest sense of the word behind #1 in strength but in terms of high its like #3 and more kristalls on the bud means you have to take less. the cure brings out a very fruity smell with a rotton twist and sharp end, so thats my 1 of the 3 Frisian Dew#1 the purple pheno its a very nice smoke i whould say the most head high but also the strongest plant with most kristalls on besides to 2 she is the most sticky plant from the pack of 3 and it smells like sweet herbs and lemony and every one went crazy for it then they see the color, here on the streets all purple u get is trash i have not 1s get good purple weed

Started late in the year so happy with the results, easy to grow outdoors and looks amazing when flowering with dark purple sticky buds. Nothing lost to mould but had a very dry year. Will be growing again next season

Great strain will definitely grow again. huge colas and I think this would do terrific outdoors as well!!!

Densos cogollos, de una planta fuerte. Muy simetrica y resistente a stress plagas y mal clima! En Patagonia, la volveré a cultivar en exterior. Comentaré despues del secado/curado ese humo!

Tall plants, even if small pots.... doesn't turned to purple unfortunately. Nice for outdoor

Great Strain for Northern Europe, Or similar Climate Zones. Great Acclimated Genetics!!! A must for an Outdoor-Grow She started early with Flowering and was Ready In the 3rd Week of September, just before the " big Rainingtime" came. She Developed Huuuge Maincolas, and big Buds around......... Very economic Plant, Lots of Flowers, less Leaves, easy to trim A Real Eyecatching Plant

I gave Frisian Dew a go again, this time I knocked it out of the park. Plant was short but had 12 colas perfectly spaced. Is now in darkness for next 2 days before I chop more. Removed 3 of the main colas to sample and woah, this stuff comes as advertised. Heady high with happy feelings of comfort, the taste leaves something to be desired, its got that real earthy just regular skunk to it. Buds are nice and sticky all over, purps started showing during the flush, looking real pretty.
