Dutch Passion

Excellent experience with Dutch Passion's Strawberry Cough. I grew two plants from seed using an intentionally abbreviated cultivation cycle. These photoperiod plants were grown more like I would approach an autoflower, with only 20 days from emergence to flip. Each plant was topped early and reduced to two primary sets of branches, creating a very simple, compact structure with a minimal vegetative window. Despite the abbreviated veg period, the two plants produced a combined 310.9 g, or just under 11 ounces, of dry flower. Phenotypic variation between the plants was substantial. One phenotype developed massive, heavily stacked, baseball bat-like colas and produced 180.5 g dry. The second expressed a thinner, spindle-like structure with narrower, leafier flower formations and produced 130.4 g. Both produced excellent finished flower despite their dramatically different architecture. The flower is exceptionally resinous and among the stickiest I have grown. Aroma is explosive, with strong fruit upfront followed by pronounced skunk and spicy undertones. Effects are where this strain really shines. Onset is remarkably fast, beginning with a heavy sensation behind the eyes before rapidly developing into intense euphoria. The high is strongly cerebral - focused, happy, introspective, and creative - with comparatively mild body effects. It is also exceptionally long-lasting and gradually gives way to solid sleep without feeling immediately heavy or sedating. I harvested at 62 days in flower with predominantly cloudy trichomes and very little amber, specifically targeting a more uplifting and euphoric expression. The finished effects aligned extremely well with that goal. Overall, an excellent strain and one I would absolutely grow again. Outstanding resin production, explosive aroma, excellent yield from a deliberately shortened grow cycle, and exactly the cerebral effect I was hoping to achieve. Highly recommended.

nice sweet caramelized smell! she does outstanding even with some higher temperatures. we have a good amount of trichomes on this girl!

Sehr schöne Pflanze habe sie schon zweimal angebaut.am bedtek gefallen mir die vielen trichome. die hohen Temperaturen haben ihr nichts ausgemacht!

Grew really well but also really dense, what caused a bit of budrot in the headbud, the rest is fine. Besides that great plant, had no problems with really hard weather conditions. Cold nights in May and extreme heat in June, she had zero issues with that.

We're talking about TOP brewder. The seed was 5 years old and germinated as if it were fresh. Great genetics, interesting, excellent! . thank you Dutch Passion!

I need to run this cultivar again to make a fair assessment. Unfortunately I made too many mistakes to really show this cultivars properties and aromas. What I can say though is even though she had to endure humidity swings and temperature peaks into the 30°C she didn't die. It took her 3 weeks into the humidity swings to start molding which even though she molded I'd say is really resistant. Growing her was easy or would have been in the right environment. For me and my problems she threw a lot of nanners due to immense stress and later even put out some seeds. With all this going on she still fattened up like crazy which was bad for the mold situation but good in any other case. She had really nice smells during flower which evaporated in a good amount due to high temperatures. The heavier notes remain though. All in all I'd have to grow this one again for a fair assessment because right now with nanners, seeds and mold it just doesn't look good but that was mainly my decision to grow in spring and summer which I regret.

It has very dense and heavy buds. The smell is mildly sweet. The high is strong and heavy, perfect for the evening.

Hab einiges verbockt bei diesem Versuch, deswegen schwierig zu sagen ob die Dame easy zu growen ist oder nicht. Denk des lag nicht an der Genetik, allein meine Schuld.

As it was my first grow, i cant compare it with anything. It was kinda easy but she suffered as i didnt knew the fabric buffer of carolina soil wouldnt last till the end, if i knew if before i would buffer it again or complement the watering with some cal-mag. I think she's pretty resistent as she kept going even with the adverse events. Well, i'll came back after its dry to comment again.

the outcome was great but the strain require optimal conditions, not so tolerant to stress (light stress or heat) but in general the results are good.

this strain is fire! great thc production, with hard ballshaped buds, with a nice and gassy smell. the strain was done totally organic with biotabs and showed very good results, she was easy to grow also. this strain is perfect and i hope Dutch Passion or SSSC will launch this one as its totally worth it.
