Sour Tropicana Sherbet is a feminised photoperiod cross of an award-winning Sherbet mother and Sour Tropicana Cookies. You can expect vigorous plants that are easy to grow! The Sherbet mother is a potent and stable foundation that can easily produce between 20-25% THC in good conditions. By crossing with the Sour Tropicana genetics, the terpene profile has been infused with completely new terpenes that provide a truly powerful and pungent aroma. The most dominant terpenes in this cross are caryophyllene, humulene, myrcene, limonene and linalool. In addition, there are traces of other terpenes such as nerolidol, terpineol, fenchol and farnesene. Sour Tropicana Sherbet combines high potency with a unique appearance. The breeding with a purple-coloured Sour Tropicana Cookies allows Sour Tropicana Sherbet to display some beautiful pigmentation. Some phenotypes can develop light purple/rose pink hues towards the end of flowering. This is a sativa-leaning hybrid cross. This ensures plants that stretch just a little more during the flowering phase. This makes her well suited for LST and HST growing techniques and for growing with the SCROG method. The average flowering time of this strain is between 9 and 10 weeks with a heavy yield. The high is powerful and relaxing - but also energetic at the same time, certainly not a couch potato. This strain is only available as a 'limited edition' and was specially developed for 4/20 in 2024. As a thank you, Dutch Passion and Antonio have decided to give you a free seed from another limited crossing with every 5-pack of Sour Tropicana Sherbet. In this case the Triangle Sherbet Kush BX1. This strain arose from years of selection with a Sour Banana Sherbet x Leeroy cross that led to a phenotype with a THC percentage of well over 25%. By backcrossing (‘BX1’) this Triangle Sherbet Kush to the original Sour Banana Sherbet parent, a hybrid Sour Banana dominant cross has been created with many of the star-qualities of the original parent. This ensures a stable and vigorous cultivar that can take a beating! In terms of aroma and taste, you can expect a mix of slightly sour, creamy, floral, and mainly fruity (banana, citrus) notes. All in all, a very easy plant to grow with good yields. Related: Antonio’s cannabis crossbreeding case study
