Heute war Erntetag für meine Guava Runtz. ️ Nach mehreren Wochen voller Pflege durfte sie heute ihr Finale erleben. Das Nassgewicht lag bei 200 Gramm, womit sie zwar nicht zu den größten Ertragsbringern meines Grows gehört, dafür konnte sie mit einer wirklich schönen Qualität überzeugen. Die Buds sind bei diesem Strain eher mittelgroß und kompakt geblieben. Was ihr vielleicht etwas an Masse fehlt, macht sie meiner Meinung nach mit ihrer Optik wieder wett. Eine unglaublich dicke Schicht aus Trichomen überzieht nahezu jede Blüte und sorgt für den typischen "frostigen" Look, den ich an Guava Runtz so liebe. Die kräftig orangefarbenen Blütenstempel runden das Gesamtbild perfekt ab. Direkt nach der Ernte habe ich alle Blüten in meinen VIVOSUN VCure gelegt, wo sie nun unter optimalen Bedingungen langsam trocknen und anschließend automatisch ins Curing übergehen dürfen. Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie sich das Aroma in den nächsten Tagen entwickelt. Schon jetzt erinnert der Duft an süße tropische Früchte mit einer cremigen Note – genau das, was ich mir von diesem Strain erhofft hatte. Nicht jede Sorte muss Rekorderträge liefern. Für mich zählt am Ende vor allem die Qualität der Blüten, und genau hier konnte die Guava Runtz definitiv punkten. Jetzt heißt es Geduld haben und ihr die Zeit geben, ihr volles Potenzial während des Curings zu entfalten. She produced a wet weight of 200 grams. While she wasn't the highest-yielding plant in this run, she definitely made up for it with her outstanding quality. The buds remained medium-sized and nicely compact, rather than turning into huge colas. What she may have lacked in overall yield, she more than compensated for with her incredible appearance. Every flower is coated in a thick blanket of shimmering trichomes, giving her that beautiful frosty look that makes the Guava genetics so special. Combined with the deep orange pistils, she truly looks stunning. Immediately after harvest, all the buds were placed into my VIVOSUN VCure, where they'll dry under controlled conditions before automatically transitioning into the curing process. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the terpene profile develops over the coming days. Even during harvest, she released a delicious aroma of sweet tropical fruits with creamy undertones—exactly what I was hoping for from this strain. Not every cultivar needs to produce monster yields. For me, quality always comes before quantity, and that's exactly where the Guava Runtz shines. Now it's time to be patient and let the curing process unlock her full potential. Overall, Guava Runtz was a very easy and forgiving strain to grow. She required very little feeding and still produced an outstanding harvest, even with my LST-only training approach. My phenotype had a fairly mild aroma, although I suspect the prolonged heat played a role in that. One standout trait was her exceptional heat tolerance—she handled more than a week of temperatures well above 30°C with very little stress. I’ll update this report with the effects and flavor once the buds have finished drying and curing. Smoke Report Contrary to my expectations, this phenotype isn’t particularly fruity. Instead, it has a surprisingly spicy, peppery aroma and flavor, which may have been influenced by the prolonged period of extreme heat during flowering. Personally, I don’t mind it at all—it gives the strain a unique character. The effects are very balanced, offering a pleasant mix of cerebral uplift and relaxing body effects. As a true 50/50 hybrid, it delivers an enjoyable experience that works well both during the day and in the evening.

What up fam, we made it to harvest time with these lovely frosted ladies. I ended up chopping and freezing it to wash and make some Fresh Frozen Live Rosin. The strong smell followed by hits of sweetness is mouth watering. I ended up with 717g of wet weight and added it to the MendoFrost wash, and after washing,pressing it came out to a total of 41g of Rosin. It had 2.5% return so not horrible but I'm running it again as I know it and I can do better.
