Apple Betty

Great run, had a few humidity issues but she was a faster grower for sure. Very tasty flowers. Couch locked effects, makes you hungry and sleepy, a true Indica vibe.

I popped 1 seed of Herbies Apple Betty in a rapid rooter. 142 days later here we are. The long flower time was definitely influenced by my environmental conditions, and a deficiency that I was able to fix. The fact that she withstood that and produced some nice looking buds with heavy aroma was impressive. I can't wait to grow again indoors and really push her to the max. Great genetics in my opinion as I did not experience any type of issues, herm, diseases, etc.

Another strong Herbies strain. Plus pretty decent yield, flavor, and smell

Short bushy with lots of nodes. very sticky beautiful plant with the colors of the leaves changing to a deep purple the last couple weeks.

Buds were looking great all the way until the very end, my first sign was at day 5 dry when I looked in and thought I saw a few seeds on the floor of the tent. It was confirmed when I started trimming. All 3 plants had seeded, not a huge amount, but they are within the buds, and a terrible sight to see after 16 weeks. Both tents, all 3 plants seeded. My cookies strain that was occupying the same space, has no seeds, neither tent. Very disappointed with this turn of events to say the least… they were looking soooo good and frosty. I’ve kept the top buds, they seem to have the least, all the rest of it first was trimmed for the kief, and then right to the trash. Way too many seeds. Normally I would say grower error, but if my others had no problems, in Both tents, my instinct says genetics weren’t up to par.

I would rate it higher but the yield was very unimpressive.

Finally get to taste what ive been dying to taste...and im not underwhelmed. First inhale is straight Apple and Chocolate! On the exhale I got an odd recall of the smell of fresh wet paint followed softly by soft notes of Allspice and Caramel. Its definitely a Unique smoking experience from the outset and thoroughly enjoyable. I look forward to tasting it in a few weeks after it has spent some time in the jar. If someone gave me this at an event to smoke I would be very impressed by the flavour profiles. Now for the effect, it absolutely lifts me off me feet (milky trichomes) and put me in a great frame of mind. So much so I had bounced around the house and done so much in three hours I completely forgot about smoking some more. Thats a great sign for me because I usually smoke between 5 and 8 grams per day for my medical requirements. So there is that offset..a pretty small harvest but im not needing to smoke so much. This leaves me curious about my outdoor grow and next indoor trial. Hopefully I can get her to perform better. The smoke is world class! The yield for me, under these conditions, was not worth the effort. Thanks for stopping by and Sticky Buds everyone!
