Durban Poison is a sativa dominant strain created from Dutch Skunk and South African Durban genetics. It has typical sativa features - tall, large leaves and elongated buds. The plant is easy to grow and yields usually in 56-63 days. During flowering, it has an earthy aniseed aroma. Durban Poison is suitable for beginners as it does not require special skills. Its sativa structure gives it thin branches and long serrated leaves. The yield reaches 450 g/m2. The THC level is about 15%.
This strain is recommended for smoking at the beginning of the day, because it makes your brain work to the fullest. You will feel creative energy and motivation, with a feeling of euphoria. This is a good variety for social communication. The taste is earthy and aniseed.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet as the flower is curing and the extract I have made from fresh chopped is still in the diamond miner. I initially chopped 11 colas and was able to fill a 3/4 pound extractor, and the amount of thca in it must be really high as shown in a picture, theres about a 1/2" layer of it crystallizing in a small 3" wide jar. Very happy with the extraction and hope to be happy with the flower once its dried. It has a good smell, fresh and dank, but doesn't quite capture a true Durban Poison. Perhaps these two plants are the skunk pheno of the cross Nirvana has. I should have done more research on these genetics, as this is more of an American Durban, and not a true land race Durban as evidenced by the structure of the plant. Next run of Durban will be something directly from South Africa instead of the dutch or american crossed version, not too happy about these genetics, at all.

This one was the easiest to grow and wasn't worried about anything but putting on long dense buds
