Purple Ghost Candy is a compelling hybrid strain resulting from the crossbreeding of Ghost OG with Candyland Purple. With a genetic makeup of 60% sativa and 40% indica, this strain boasts high yields and resin production, making it ideal for extractions. Cultivating Purple Ghost Candy is relatively straightforward, although growers should provide support for its side branches due to their substantial size. Outdoors, it can reach towering heights between 250 - 350 cm. Indoors, it flowers for 70 - 84 days and yields 500 - 600 gr/m2. Outdoor growers in northern latitudes can anticipate harvests of 700 - 900 gr. per plant by mid-October. Notably, the buds display large, golden resin crystals early in the flowering stage. Purple Ghost Candy exudes the classic OG fuel aroma accompanied by spicy and earthy flavors, complemented by hints of lemon and other fruits. With THC levels as high as 27.54% and low CBD content, its effect is predominantly physical, accompanied by a balanced mental stimulation, making it perfect for relaxation and downtime.

I have not had a chance to try it yet as I have only just jarred it . Buds are extremely dense and the yield is somewhat surprising given how tiny it looks after drying. Unfortunately the heat is picking up in that tent but despite that, the plant remained very visually healthy. Luckily, disturbing the plant still gave off plenty of citrus and earthy smells with the latter being the predominant smell. The earthy smell I can only describe as a cross between pine and clove, absolutely wonderful. The citrus blends real well too. Very sticky during harvest, I wet trimmed most of it by hand just taking off the fan leaves. I cut off most of the ends of the sugar leaves while fresh too however I did not trim them like a dispensary would. I leave the sugar leaves that are heavy on the trichomes as they do not bother me. Sue me :D The weight is dry, not wet. Didn't take wet measurement. I will try to edit this once I try it a couple times. 8/10 as a plant, absolutely beautiful sativa like, just what the doctor ordered šŸ˜. I think this could be a 9 or even a 10 in the right hands, hence why I wish to revisit. I think I didn't do her justice. EDIT: I will write this as I try this strain for the second time. Opening the jar and taking a whiff, very spicy smelling right off the bat. Not a hot spicy but more like a herbal spicy, kinda like that kick in the nose you get from smelling strong pine or lemongrass essential oil. That kinda herbal spice. The pine really makes sense as this plant had a predominantly earthy smell during flower. Picking the nugs, all of them are absolutely rock hard, down to the smallest popcorn bud. Truly representative of what I know and read about sativa bud structure. Buds are admittedly small however I suspect that better growing conditions could have improved this considerably. Breaking open the nugs, you finally start to smell the citrus. More lemon-y than anything else but very discreet and blends very well with the earthy notes. Have to comment once again about the bud structure, it really is one of the densest I've seen of the homegrown category. Grinds real easy, the moisture on the buds are perfect for grinding. Opening the grinder and taking a whiff, the spicy/earthy smell has a sort of anise aroma to it. It really is quite unique smelling and I have to wonder how much stronger smelling this plant can get in cooler conditions. Ground down, the bud looks whiter than some other types of bud I'm currently enjoying. Smell is very inviting. Lighting up, Cheers! Just like the first time, I'm immediately getting a spicy zing in the back of the mouth/beginning of the throat. It is a very pleasant peppery spiciness in terms of taste which is a departure from the spiciness in the smell as it is a more piney, herbal spicey. The best way I can describe it is how certain Cigars tend to develop a spicy note after the first half or last quarter. It is EXACTLY that sort of spicy. It really is quite wonderful. I can sort of still get a whiff of citrus sometimes but I'm not getting much of it in the taste, if any. I'm finding it very relaxing however take this with a heavy pinch of salt as I have smoked three different strains today, it's currently past midnight and I had a massive dinner. Probably shouldn't be smoking Sativas but I digress. The point is I am likely the worst person to tell you what the effects of a strain are but my last surviving brain cells are quite enjoying this strain at this moment in time. Halfway through it, that spiciness is really something. Really really nice. Very cigar like in that spicy mouth feel kind of way, like I already said. Definitely taking the spiciness to 11. Sometimes a cigar can get so spicy that your face below your eyes and around your nose starts sweating, that's exactly the taste I am getting with this. I would say it's very nice and spicy if I didn't do so 50 times already so I'll just bugger off. Good evening and thanks for reading my rambling review of this strain. 4/5 smoke, would try again.

She turned out as amazing as I was hoping. Super thick main stalk and all branches. Could have kept tied down longer. Smells intensely if grape, super sticky. Can't wait to start another. But I have to

Well Iā€™m going to say this is not a strain for newbies but I did have a rough few months so Iā€™m sure that played a part in my troubles. I chopped a few days after my last update. Couldnā€™t put her in my normal drying tent so it sets me back a week or two getting a new grow in. I tried a soil clone from this girl and if this plant turns out as good Iā€™ll be happy but Iā€™m not sure how bad the seeds are. I donā€™t know the weight, never really weighed any of my plants but Iā€™ll try to start in the future

Wowā€¦.this stuff is stronger than anything Iā€™ve ever had. One nice hit before harvestā€¦.next thing I know my head is almost in the Trim Bin while Iā€™m trimming. Very strong sedative effect for me. Relaxing. Didnā€™t inspire me to work around the house like other strains are known to do for me. I canā€™t wait to see how she is after a good dry and cure.

Pretty easy to grow. I tried some new fertilizers and she seemed to enjoy them just fine. I had another plant that didn't. Oh well, I'm learning. These buds look delicious though.

Los cogollos de esta variedad de Seedsman son realmente fantƔsticos,, flores cubierta de una espectacular resina, la que viene acompaƱada de terpenos bien aromaticos. Se sienten aromas bien similar al queso azul.

This was a bit of a challenge of a grow but I love a challenge. The one plant that made it is a gorgeous little plant that has some nicely frosted buds that smell like a grape candy mixed with the great fuel smell of a diesel. I lost one of the original two plants to hermie tried to replace it with a new one that ended up a mutant so I didn't add it to this diary except for a few pictures because it did grow and has some very fat buds with the same grape candy smell this one without the diesel though. I only took off one star because these challenges could have very well been my fault and the ones that did make it to the end have big good smelling buds I'm proud to hold up... I'll return with the smoke report šŸ”„ this is a very strong sativa leaning high that really gets you motivated, you are going to like this one it has the punch of a good diesel mixed with a super tasty candy like grape flavor... just make sure you have a sandwich close for when you start to come down

I fell in love with Purple Ghost Candy on Seedsman Discord page ( with 1 picture!) Have never been so excited to try a strain..Everyone should grow this. She made me nervous, but did NOT disappoint. I'm going to miss the smell every time I open the tent, super sweet, smelled exactly like grape Candy ( which I don't even like!) The colors throughout the entire plant were stunning, my pictures don't do her justice. Several different shades of purple, contrasting against the bright green. šŸ’œšŸ’š Pretty simple grow, predict PGC will be in my top 3, if not #1..

Very beautiful plant. The only strain that turned purple before I switched to flower. The name suits the strain perfect. Very very sweet like candy and the color is amazing. Easy to grow and was a medium sized plant
