This easy to grow plant is our most popular, because of her outstanding quality. The AK-47 strain has been often copied or used by other seed companies for crosses.
This plant is of medium height and produces very good yields quite quickly. Extremely STRONG odour and smoke. Take extra care for odour control when growing near neighbours!
The name was given not out of any idea of violence, but more in association with the ‘one hit wonder’ that the smoke is. After its introduction visitors to coffeeshops in Amsterdam regularly passed out after a hit of the AK47 strain. Quality without compromise makes AK47 seeds suitable for commercial or home-grows. For a mostly Sativa cross these plants have a short flowering period, producing compact buds with few leaves that gleam with a coat of resin crystals.
Winning 27 awards(!!!) in Cannabis competitions proves it is a favourite to grow as well as to smoke.
She delivers a very strong, long-lasting and pleasant High. In 1999 at the Cannabis Cup, an independent lab test proved AK47 weed had the highest THC-percentage of all entries that year. Medicinal plant excellent for pain-relief.

Fire away! It's harvest time. Here are the last pictures of the plant. The result or interim result will follow in the coming days.
So far, I can only recommend Serious Seeds AK 47. Everything has actually gone well from the included germination guide, cultivation, growth, and flowering. The weaknesses lie with my setup and my experience.
BTW: I also picked a White Russian as a free seed. There's a picture of her included as well. I will also tie down the next AK47 a bit. That really boosted the other one, which is why I'm almost more satisfied with her ;) .

The AK 47 from Serious Seeds was super to grow.
It has been drying for 10 days in Dry Ferm Bags at an average humidity of 57% and a temperature of about 19 degrees.
It tastes slightly sweet and sour.
The effect is initially uplifting and clear-headed, and becomes increasingly physical and relaxing in the finish.

Hello! Thank you very much for visiting my diary.
On this occasion, I am going to plant some regular AK47s from SERIOUS SEEDS.
Technical data
Sativa/Indica: 65/35%
Flowering: 53-63 days indoors, mid/late October outdoors.
Height: 1-1.2m indoors. 2-2.5m outdoors.
The growing space is a kitchen cabinet of 40x60 and 120 in height, I am very tight on space but if I see that it gets complicated, I will put a small wardrobe to finish the cultivation.
I will use natural plagron as fertilizers, in addition to trichoderma and soil as a growing medium, and manual watering and 250w of hps.
In general, the growth and flowering have been very correct, from 4 plants, 2 females came out, 50%, I did not use calmag, and I think there were some deficiencies at the end of the cultivation but nothing serious, in dry weight it has been 65 grams from 2 plants of very good quality, although it can be improved.
Things to improve:
- The environmental conditions are my cornerstone, without air conditioning I suffer a lot with the high temperatures and my harvest is significantly reduced.
- I could improve with the growing space but the budget is very tight and it is what I have.
The 2 plants were very similar, same phenotype.
However, I am very happy to enjoy a legendary strain like the ak47.

This was my second harvest of the AK-47. Really smooth smoke with a old school kind of flavor. Not as terpy as most modern genetics, but I like the floral flavor. The high is quite strong. Mainly a strong head high at first but also relaxing on the body. The effect stays strong, even after weeks of smoking these buds. I can definitely recommend this strain. A pleasure to grow and to smoke.

Quite a robust pest resistant plant demanding of food. Low humidity strain. Thrives in the Mediterranean climate. Gives of citrus fruit aromas at the end of bloom!

The AK-47 from SERIOUS SEEDS is known for its potency and VERY strong. Its the PERFECT medicine for my chronic back pain, because it takes away all my muscle spasms immediately and lets me relax and eases my pain. For recreational smokers I would consider this a night-time smoke, since she nails you to the couch. The aroma is very strong and slightly sweet, reminding me of Sandalwood. She tastes VERY GOOD when smoked.

they have grown very well I put them to bloom in just 10 days and they have grown as expected, they ask for a little more fertilizer than what is usually normal and fertilized in each of the irrigations throughout the cycle and they still asked for more, the smell is very strong and penetrating similar to a candy watermelon, regarding the compaction I did not expect the hardness they had just before the cut they looked like stones. in general very happy and eager to start again with another diary, greetings to everyone and thanks for coming to see my harvest🍀🍀

Absolutely amazing strain and pheno ! This is some of the strongest stuff i have grown from seed in a while. A keeper for sure. Super dense buds, excellent trichrome production ! Smells so strong ! Very complex pungent aroma, difficult to explain. The effects are mind blowing, soaring cerebral buzz, seems like there is no celling to the high. Brain drops out your ass 😂 Very euphoric and giggly but also creative in smaller doses. Made me a little dizzy which i did not like...
