Strawberry Skunk.. What a name. Now if you’re unfamiliar with cannabis genetics then right now you’re probably, and quite understandably, wondering what to expect from a strain with such a name. The strain Skunk appeared in the early 90’s in the UK and is basically the name given to some particularly stinky Afghan genetics, not bad smelling, just particularly pungent. The “Strawberry” side of things were eventually thrown into the mixture after crossing Skunk with other Moroccon strains as well as a renowned Superstar strain to develop a more pleasant fruitier smell. The result was that same pungent Skunk smell, but now much more fragrant, smelling much more like red fruits and Strawberries.
