Auto Northern Hog is the autoflowering indica dominant strain with a high THC content. It is the result of the mix of The Hog and The Northern Lights.

The plant is very potent and has a short growth cycle. The time from seedlings to the harvest takes 70-80 days.  The plant develops a strong central cola and wide dark green leaves. The Auto Northern Hog grows up to 120 cm tall indoors and to 180 cm in height outdoors. The plant produces a sharp unpleasant smell during the flowering, so it is important to take care of high-quality filtration.

Automatic Northern Hog has a sweet earthy taste with hints of musk and sandalwood. The potent lasting effect brings a pleasure and a relaxation to a body. It can be used as a sedative and analgesic

This strain is a beefy, high-production autoflowering strain. She towered over the other ladies in my grow. Big fluffy buds that look gorgeous. Will update more after dry and again after cure. EDIT: Now it's time for the strain review. Growing this lady was an absolute pleasure. I will most likely grow her again, albeit with a much different approach next time. What this lady needs during veg is training, training, training. She was gorgeous as she was, but she could have been so much better. Also, not feeding her any nutrients, other than my soil mix, I feel as if she could have really pushed much further. She needs space, training, and lots of water. I would love to see her outside in a 10 gallon smartpot with a well balanced nutrient/microbial setup. I harvested this lady in two stages and I'm really glad I did. Giving her some extra time had much more of an effect than I would have thought, to be honest. The product from the first stage of harvest definitely has a heavy Northern Lights type effect. Very calming and a good night smoke or for countering anxiety/depression. Tested after 25 days cure, will continue to cure and test, but frankly it's a pretty decent smoke as it is. Could be a bit smoother, but I will chalk that up to time and technique. As for her second stage harvest, I haven't sampled any of it since it has only been 16 days (as of this writing, 5/JAN/2019), but the aroma is noticeably different. The first cut has a much fruitier smell (as documented during the later weeks of my diary, First Auto Grow), while the latter cut has a lingering pine note that I'm really excited to sample. I don't expect a great deal of difference in the effect, but I will report if anything is noticeably different. My hypothesis is that it will have a slightly stronger sedative/relaxing component, but we shall see soon enough.
